They offered to move the rest and then come back for the piano at an additional charge. I refused and sent them away. Later, the administration from LA Movers and Packers called and offered the same thing. I told him that I had already booked LA Movers and Packers to move my piano and my other belongings, and that I was not about to pay extra to get the piano moved. Hireahelper resolved it the next day by speaking with the company and had them send out a replacement crew the next day who were equiped to handle the piano. So, my move was one stress-filled day late. The movers themselves get a 5 out of 5. The administration of LA Movers and Packers gets a 1 out of 5. I had to run to the other house to get them, and when I returned, they didn't even use them. After getting to the other house, they paused again for a smoke -- leaving the butts on my driveway.They then proceeded to drag my antique bureau on its side the length of the house to the bedroom. They did get the refrigerator doors off to fit through the narrow doorways, but broke the plastic covering that conceals the screws. My desk has deep scratches on the wood where it scraped against something in the process (I did supply them with furniture blankets...were they used properly? I didn't notice because...Oh, yes, I was out getting straps!). They were strong and able to handle the heavy weight without hurting themselves.They expressed concern for my furniture, but did not go out of their way to ensure it was secure once I brought the straps. I give them two stars because I think they could do a better job if they put more attention into customer service and professionalism.

I am known for being able to pack things very well. No way I could have done nearly as good as Serge did loading stuff on the moving truck and making use of the space. Everything was very well protected. I don't know what else to say...I would hire them again without question and will refer them to my friends. They were beyond excellent at a very reasonable price.
