Despite re-confirming my reservation a few days prior to the unload date/time with the owner of Conquistador Moving Service who confirmed via text, the company was a no show. I'm 65 years old and had to unload items I could handle while Hire A Helper went to bat for me to find a replacement company. They found a replacement crew that came that evening but left me worried for hours as my truck was parked in the unloading area of the apartment complex, and the truck was due back to Penske the next day. When I called the two numbers on file for Conquistador, neither allowed me to connect with anyone let alone leave a message. Several hours after the appointment time Conquistador advised Hire A Helper they were cancelling my unloading appointment. No phone or text to me, no explanations. Moving is hard enough with this kind of aggravation. What I can advise is if you do run into problems with the labor team you select the good news is Hire A Helper immediately steps in to make things happen. Kudos to Hire A Helper. Shame on Conquistador Moving Service for leaving a senior in distress who needed a reliable unloading service.

They had trouble finding my place (I live in a HUGE complex), but they dived right in and loaded the truck very quickly. They were prepared for the job, worked hard, and took good care of my stuff. Would definitely use them again.

We were very pleased with the pod unloading service we received while moving into our new 2 level work live space. Both men worked well together and moved furniture quickly and carefully. They went above and beyond our expectations and assembled our bed frame and 2 ikea closets. We would be happy to have both Eric and George back in the future and highly recommend your service.

ERIC and GEORGE did an excellent job. Two men instead of three and completed in 5 hours the second day of loading. They arrived at 10:15 AM instead of the window of between 8-9AM. The first day, 3 showed up on time, with 2 lazy and ERIC who did most of the work. After a couple of hours, only 2 men remain ed. If there had been 3 good loaders, they could have loaded in 5 hours insteaD OF THE 7.5 HOURS. oVERALL, eric AND gEORGE DID VERY GOOD, BUT i WOULD NOT HIRE THIS ORGANIZATION AGAIN.
