These guys worked hard and quick from the time they got out of the truck but exercised extreme caution with our belongings which we really appreciated. I would definitely use them again and absolutely recommend them.

We loved our movers and wish they could have been at the other end to unload for us as well! They worked hard, in the heat and with 5 flights of stairs to navigate. They didn't stop and finished in less time than anticipated. They took great care with all of our property. And they were very pleasant and fun. Could not have asked for a better experience.

The service provided by Lone Star Moving and the owner Ronaldo has been absolutely despicable. The move did not start off well as only 2 movers showed up instead of the 3 we paid for. Their job was to load our 26' Penske truck and they did an incredibly poor job. They did not stack items all the way to the roof which ended up allowing things to shift, they did not wrap multiple pieces of furniture in moving pads or plastic wrap even though we asked them to and provided those supplies, and they put boxes labeled as "Fragile" at the very bottom of the truck. I've never packed a moving van before so unfortunately I wasn't really aware of what these movers were (or weren't) doing. Once we arrived to our new home, the new group of movers, also contracted through HireAHelper, asked us who on earth loaded this truck. They said it look like a complete amateur job. We had bicycles scrapped up, a broken bookcase, damaged wood on multiple pieces of furniture, bent metal on the washing machine, and the list goes on and on. I contacted the owner, Ronaldo, about these issues and he was very apologetic initially. He stated that I was a third complaint that he had received for his group of workers. He stated that he would give me all of the money back for the damages. Well that was the end of June and the check has still not come. Every week since then Ronaldo has claimed that he has mailed the check but nothing has arrived to us. As recent as August 3rd, 2016 he texted me that he "mailed the check himself" but it is now 7 days later and we have not received anything. If you find yourself considering using this group, I suggest you consider otherwise. Not only were their services subpar, but their owner won't even stand behind them and accept responsibility. Shameful.

On-time, prepared, and very respectful to property. The two man crew unloaded a 26 foot truck in less than an hour and a half. Highly recommend these guys.

The Lone Star guys (Ronaldo the owner/key guy) showed up on time (planned for 8 am and started at 8:15 am). I've opened the locks on all my 5 containers on the driveway and I went inside to help them organize. They took good care on not damaging anything and claimed to finish everything by 9:59 am. I've paid them for 4 hours and released the payment the same day. Later, we have found that one container was not unloaded when the moving company called us. I've called Ronaldo and explained the situation and he agreed to come next day morning at 8 am to complete the work. When I called Ronaldo t confirm he changed his terms said he can not promise whether he can do this and started saying there were only 4 containers. He also falsely claimed that he called the prior day on my cell but there was record to prove it. Ronaldo hung up on me, while I was requesting him! I've reported to to Hireahelper.com and Nick jumped in and offered me a different vendor to fix it but the timeline was not helping me. I denied the services and Nick has refunded for 2 hours of the time I've already paid for. It was an horrible experience and I did not expect from all 5* company and now I doubt the prior ratings.

Best decision I made. Well worth the price. Ronaldo and his helper showed up on time and got right to work. They worked continuously and ended up actually moving more items into our truck than I thought possible within the 2 hour window. A highly professional team who know how to pack a large truck, they even made suggestions on the best way to pack to prevent damage to furniture, and then went to work to make it happen. Make sure you have plenty of moving blankets (2 to 3 dozen) and a few rolls of professional plastic wrap on hand, and they will ensure your furniture is packed the right way. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to all my friends.

They gave me a window of between 8-12. I'm not sure how they planned to honor that commitment when they had another job scheduled at the same time. They didn't show up until 1:30. Other than that they did a great job. The other issue has nothing to do with the movers. If you schedule 4 hours and it only takes 3 hours you still pay for the 4 hours. So, I guess it's better to underestimate than to over estimate.

These men really know what they are doing! We had a very large oak wine cabinet which weighed around 500 pounds. They were able to get it out of the house and on the truck without putting a scratch on it. They did a great job in organizing the items on the truck which was packed (26 foot truck). The items made it from Keller, Texas to Lexington, North Carolina without any damage. I would highly recommend Ronaldo and his team to help with your next move. Regards, Joel & Myra Williams
