James and Dot did an excellent job of moving items from a storage unit to a moving truck and then into a third-floor apartment. I will be using them in the future if any moving needs arise.

The only problem that I have is that the tv is broken. The seal at the bottom of the left-side of the screen has indentations on it.

The two helpers arrived within the scheduled hour. They did not bring a hand-truck as was requested. The work was completed quickly, as I didn't have much to move in the first place. But there was a last-minute addition to the truck. Meanwhile they'd placed my mattress up against the door (in fact, at the point I asked to have the additional item loaded, one of the helpers was holding my mattress up to keep it from falling out of the truck and onto the ground). So instead, they put the last-minute addition into their vehicle, along with a full-length mirror (they decided to do that to protect the mirror). The mirror was delivered, but the other item was not. I contacted Handy Hands about it and was told they indeed had the other item and that they would drop it off to me. That never happened, and the contact (Marshall) is now ignoring my emails. Granted, my missing property isn't worth much, and can be replaced, but if they didn't actually want to return it to me, they should at least have offered me a refund for the replacement value. Sadly, I cannot recommend Handy Hands due to this.

Alva and Clayton were AWESOME. I can't believe how friendly and professional they were. They moved couches, futons, and some really heavy items without complaint and they loaded and packed the trailer perfectly. Way better than I could have done myself. Very skilled and very professional. I highly recommend this team and I will definitely be calling them for the second and third stages of our move.

The team was on time, they were friendly and efficient and they were nicely communicative in terms of moving items into a POD or other places in the house. I would use them again and hope that they are reassigned to move the furniture back to the house from the POD when the work in the house is completed.
