The workers were called in at the last minute because a previous company bailed on the job. The arrive in a timely manner prepared for the job. It was 8:15pm and they worked hard movng my furniture, helped arrange bed rooms, set up tvs and offered to help with anything else I needed. They were very respectful and when I move again I will call and request the two men again as well as refer them to others.

Communication was excellent - All Around Movers reached out to me to confirm the job, time I wanted them to arrive and reviewed the job details. James and Lewis arrived exactly on time ready to work. They made quick work of unloading the truck, were very careful with our fragile items and made sure they placed things where we wanted them. I highly recommend them and will hire them again in the future when I need moving help. Thanks guys!

Both "helpers" arrived on time and were professional and pleasant to work with. They did an outstanding job of professionally packing the U Haul truck and were knowledgeable and helpful in making sure everything fit despite it being a tight squeeze. We were very pleased with their services as well as the ease in hiring helpers, the timelieness of calls and the efficiency of payment. Would definitely use this service again if needed. My movers arrived on time and were ready to jump into work. They had the handtrucks and eben brought rope to tie back the load. They worked very hard and the truck was packed so well that you could not see any spaces between the load. They were very careful of all of my property and took great pains to insure it was safe. Great job. A few minutes late but called promptly to let us know and get better directions (gps missed our place). Quick but careful, got straight to work. Very friendly. Worth noting also that we had dropped 5 cash in the floor and they brought it to us instead of pocketing it. Would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again for future moves.

WOW!!! Unexpectedly the person who was to help me pick up several offices of desks and accessories could not go with me. I found this out the night before I was to leave for the 3 hour pick-up trip. I went on-line and found All Around Movcers and quickly signed up to get some help. Frankly I didn't expect a good result since it was only 14 hours from the time I needed someone. This is where I got a very pleasent surprise. Within 1/2 hour of signing up I received a call from Lonnie confirming that Steve would be there the next day at 10 am sharp. Steve did, in fact, arrive the next day but not on time -- EARLY!! He arrived with some very helpful tools and a world of knowledge about packing and moving large items. He was a very professional, respectful, and hard working young man and worth every penny I spent -- and then some. I would highly recommend All Around Movers. They came through for me in a pinch.

Al and Steven arrived on time and got right to work. They were friendly, hard working and great at their job. They took great care to not damage anything as we were moving into my new home and worked around the painters who were there at the same time without a problem. They needed an additional hour which was fine as it took them 3 hours to unload and place all the items and boxes from a 27 foot moving truck that took my buddies and i from the fire dept 8 hours to load. I would highly reccommend All Around Movers to anyone.

Justin and Lewis were great! Thanks so much for sending these great guys. They were nearly on time, even though they had to traverse Charlotte to reach my place. They worked really hard - we could nearly not keep up with their readiness for the next task. They were really careful with the house and goods, both, and I'd use them again in a heartbeat.

The 2 guys that worked my assignment were great. They were accommodating and friendly. They were very knowledgeable about loading and unloading the truck and into the storage facility. I had 4 hours reserved and they completed the job within the 4 hours ... great job!!! I'll use these guys again.

I hired these guys to help my parents move in lieu of coming myself. Apparently, they were really fast, very polite & courteous, and made the whole process much, much easier. My dad was amazed by their skill at hoisting things around. Definitely worth the hire!

We had two great workers..Steven and Billy. They were awesome. We paid for three workers and the third one did not come to work. We expressed this to the other two workers and to Lonnie. I would absolutely recommend this crew. I had to reschedule due to delays with my truck and other movers, and All Around Movers were very accommodating. They showed up about ten minutes early, busted their butts to get everything inside quickly but safely, and even gave me a few tips about unpacking and tax breaks for moving. Professional crew, real hard workers, I couldn't be happier.

A big THANK YOU to Lonnie and his crews for their flexibility and professionalism! This was the 2nd time I hired them to move me and they were fantastic. I asked for an 8-9am arrival, and they were there at 8 on the dot. Their crews set up everything how I asked them to and were very efficient. They were VERY understanding over an issue that occurred during my move and Lonnie accomodated me in every way a business could help a customer. The only thing I wish the crew did was to use the wrap I supplied to wrap all of the upholstered furniture. Though there was only one mark on the sofa arm, it would have better protected my furniture from the dirty moving van. I have, and will continue, to recommend Lonnie and his work to my friends. All Around Movers did a terrific job for me. I hired them to move and rearrange furniture i had displaced during a major renovation. Lewis and James (Jay) arrived early, were very courteous, extremely hard working and very careful with my items, my new floors and the walls. They were happy to accommodate me when I took the opportunity to expand the original work order and organize a storage area. I worked as a mover and driver for several moving companies when I was in high school and college and these guys are at the top of their game. I will eagerly hire them for my next moving job.

The movers were very courtesty and arrived on time. They packed the truck neatly and moved fast. They were very understanding when I had to changed the time due the uhaul truck needing service. The helpers were 30 min late so we started late. I had asked for help packing and loading, but they really only seemed interested in loading. They did throw a few things in boxes and take some of our unwanted items off our hands. Fairly satisfied with the experience.

Lonnie and his crew were incredible! Lonnie returned messages within minutes and was very professional in helping me reserve his crew for my move. Tom and Steven came over to help us pack the kitchen and decorative odds and ends around the house. The two gentlemen, Jimmy and Lewis, from All Around Movers were on time, professional and courteous. My request was difficult. I needed to empty an attic full of items that had been there for 30 + years. It was unbearably hot and there was no air conditioning in the house. Although many of the items had been destroyed by years of extreme hot and cold temperatures, the workers treated the items as if they were valuable works of art. When I asked them to empty the yard tools from the crawl space under the house, they seemed almost happy to do it. I talked with Lonnie on the telephone while arranging the project. He was very helpful and courteous also. Although, it was a difficult, hot, and dirty project for Jimmy and Lewis, they had wonderful, helpful attitudes throughout the task. Thank you for such a wonderful service. I do not know what I would have done without your help.

Came an hour early, 4 helpers, didn't accomplish what they probably should have. I say this because later that day, I had 2 helpers who did as much or more than the 4 did in the same amount of time No boxes were packed. Didn't seem really organized. and left several pieces of furniture in a haphazard condition in the truck that later had to be packed by the second crew.

I would highly recommend All Around Movers! I priced shopped several competitors and they were by far the most reasonably priced mover available in my area. When I originally booked my reservation online I communicated an incorrect start time and called Lonnie to adjust the time, he was gracious enough to accommodate my error and was very courteous in assisting me. There was a mix up on moving day and the movers arrived at the original incorrect starting time, Lonnie called me and I reminded him that we discussed an alternative time and he was very apologetic and said he would send the movers back out at the adjusted time. This mix-up was my fault but again Lonnie was very accommodating. The movers arrived on schedule. I actually leased a moving truck and drove to my destination myself and requested that All Around Movers simply unload my truck for me. The leased truck had a broken ramp that I had been attempting to make accommodations with the leasing agent to have Road Side Service come and repair for 3 hours prior to my scheduled time with All Around Movers. It took Budget Truck Rental 4hrs to find a repair technician to come out and fix the ramp. Needless to say All Around Movers arrived an hour before the repair technician and they were not able to begin unloading my furniture, as scheduled, due to the broken ramp. I was extremely overwhelmed and frustrated with Budget Rental and I called Lonnie to apologize for the inconvenience and to see if I could reschedule and he quickly assured me it was not my fault and he was willing to accommodate the situation. I was fearful I would be charged for the movers time since they were at their location and the broken ramp wasn’t their fault but the gentleman stayed on site until the repair technician arrived and as soon as the broken ramp was fixed they immediately began working diligently. I was not charged for the time they arrived to the time it took the repair man to fix the ramp. I was only charged for the actual

These guys were awesome--very respectful, got the job done--they even refolded the blankets and backed the truck into a *very* tight space which I wouldn't have been able to do. They literally ran up & down the stairs with two boxes held behind their backs. They put together the furniture and everything was even orderly when they left. I would definitely hire them again!

Lewis and Buddy arrived a few minutes late, but called ahead of time to let me know. They arrived and got right to work and worked extremely hard to get the job done in the alloted amount of time. We’re an Apartment Community in Charlotte, North Carolina. We unfortunately had a building fire that displaced 5 plus units. We contacted Hire-A-Helper to help our residents get settled into their new homes. Their items had to be taken from one unit to another. The company was very professional and exact. They listen to our request and delivered on time. Two gentlemen came out to the community and were very pleasant to work with. They moved furniture from 5 units to 5 units. Their attitudes were great and they worked at a fast, yet, cautious pace. If ever needed again we would most definitely call Hire-A-Helper and refer the company to anyone in need, in the future.

Lonnie and his helper Mike arrived on time and were very friendly and professional. They came prepared and brought their own equipment. We had a four bedroom home and felt it should take about an hour and a half to load and then an hour to unload. We allowed for a half hour to drive to the new home. I felt that both men worked hard and they never stopped working. They worked at a steady yet slow pace. The work ended up taking an hour and a half longer then planned. Lonnie did compensate and helped out extra on his own time, but we did have to pay more then what we expected. Over all I was satisfied with All around movers in general. I hired All Around Movers for unloading services. My "loaders" with a different company were so unreliable that I had to call All Around Movers to reschedule my appointment; they were very flexible, courteous, and on time the next day. The unloaders were friendly and fast, yet careful with my things (unlike the loaders from another company), and even paid attention to my box labels! They did not leave until the job was finished, even though it took a bit longer than I had reserved them for. When one of the unloaders accidentally left with the key to my moving truck, he drove 90 minutes out of his way to get the key back to me so that I could return the truck on time. I would definitely recommend All Around Movers.

Not entirely professional. And very slow. I hired three guys to do the job, hoping to get it done sooner with more man power. But they brought only one dolly and only at the last moment (after my time had gone over and I was forced to pay more) did they start using a more efficient system of carrying boxes. One of the movers was walking up with just one box in his hand! I had to join in just so things would get done in time. For some unexplainable reason they also set all my boxes down upside down (not great when you are unpacking). They chipped the walls on the stairway. Made a lot of noise walking up and down the common area. Baited a neighbors dog who was barking with cat meows. Just an entirely unpleasant experience. My brother and I could have done it in less time and with less damage.

Allaround was awesome!! Very hard workers and got the job done. I would definitely recommend them!!! Helpers arrived early and were very nice.
