Excellent crew. Arrived on time. Very professional. Took conplete charge of packing and loading the rental truck for me. Easiest move ever and completed the job early. Very highly recommend Boston Moving Company.

The actual movers were very friendly and very talented. However, the pricing is a little questionable.... You pay for the time they move you, and for the truck rental. Plus, Hire-A-Helper quoted me one price, then Boston Moving Co. quoted me a different price, and the two never coordinated, so I had no idea what I was paying until after the job was done (which makes it impossible to budget for the move). Plus, even though the job took less than four hours, I was charged an additional fee for one hour of "moving time" which made no sense and added a good $100 to the bill, but by the end of the whole process I was so worn out and really couldn't refuse it since the job was done (probably why they wait until the END to explain the fine print). They were very talented movers but with the shady pricing I would only choose these guys if you can afford it. The other possibility is that the problem is with Hire-A-Helper, since they were the ones who I initially talked with and who clearly had no idea about Boston Moving Co's policies. Just FYI, it cost $504 for three-and-a-half hours of work, plus an additional hour for "moving time" that was never fully explained, for moving out of a two bedroom third-floor apartment into a first-floor apartment 15 minutes away with three movers (if you are on the third floor it HAS to be a 17-foot truck with at least three movers, which Hire-A-Helper failed to mention).

This turned out to be a complicated move, because of unanticipated shifting dates caused by the landlord. But Anton worked with us every step of the way. The workers were careful with our items and worked hard despite the stairs and the heat. Furthermore,,they had already completed two previous moves. We are 100% happy with Anton and his crew!

Excellent!!!! Five stars. The workers were friendly, efficient and experienced. They were done in the allotted time frame. The only reason they were delayed was because of a billing issue/code no. I had previously hired another firm (which I shouldn't have,) had I known about Boston Movers ,and the office had to do some research. They didn't charge me, even though by the time it was resolved, it had exceeded the time frame.
If I ever move again (and I certainly hope I do not have to), I would book them in a minute. They were great!! I wish I could remember the mover's names, but with all the commotion, I forgot.
Hire them!!!! You won't be disappointed.
Hire-A-Helper was great also. They booked these movers for me after problems w the first moving co. Excellent service, they took care of everything.. Much appreciated.
