At first they were an hour and a half late from there estimated arrival time. They did work hard but they took frequent stops and breaks to smoke, and at the end of the unloading they charged us an extra 30 mins of time that was not used.

They were wonderful. They called before they arrived so we knew when to expect them. They were definitly prepared worked very hard,and really took the time to wrap all of our furniture. I recommend them highly and would definitly use them again.

A Move Ahead Movers did a great job helping me with my move! They helped me pack, load, drive, and unload. They arrived to my place on time, prepared, and got right to work. They were very quick and efficient. My directions were followed 100% of the time (even though I didn't have to give many because they were very knowledgeable about their work!). They took great care of my belongings. Fragile items were handled with care and everything was transported and stored undamaged. They even swept the rental truck and folded the blankets before leaving! They were very respectful and friendly. Great personalities! I couldn't have done this move without this hardworking team. I would most definitely recommend them to anyone and I plan on using their services again real soon ;)

They are a great team. I was able to clean the apartment and they took care of the loading, only asking questions if they were not sure if the item was going or if the item was trash. Fantastic personalities and very hard workers, I will recommend them to any and all of my friends in the Orlando area that need a professional hard working team to take care of their move. I had requested a 1-2pm arrival time and they did not arrive until 8pm. I had to contact them at 3pm to find out what was going on. Never did I think that 8pm would be their arrival time.
Once they did Arrive, they got the job done. It was just a very late night.
Wish they would have communicated their delay so that I could have hired someone else, or planned my day accordingly.

Exceeded all expectations. I hoped for some good manpower/labor, what I got were professional movers that not only unpacked, but put together large items. By the time they left all bedroom and living room furniture was together and it made the move a smooth one! Wholeheartedly recommend.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
After booking with us you can expect a phone call from our offices just to reach out and get a feel for your unique situation. We will go over all needed supplies and firm up all the details.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Upon moving day you will receive a call from your movers within an hour of your booked arrival window. The movers will reach out just to make sure everything is still going according to plan and will give you their expected GPS arrival time. We know that nothing is more stressful than being nervous that the movers aren't gonna show up, so we like to put your mind at ease.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
If you will be hiring us to load your rental truck, trailer or portable shipping container it is imperative that you provide an adequate amount of moving blankets, plastic stretch wrap and rope to avoid serious damage to your items. The blankets can usually be rented with your truck or portable shipping container and are worth every penny. We can provide rope and plastic wrap for an additional fee or it can be purchased at Lowe's or Home Depot in the moving supplies section.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have handled literally every type of move from local to long distance, from household to office/commercial. We have handled everything from medical equipment to flight simulators and we are equipped to move large items such as pianos and grand pianos.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part about being movers is that we get to help someone with literally the hardest and most stressful task of their adult life.
What training do you provide your crew members?
All of our crew leaders are required to have a minimum of 4 years professional moving experience and upon hire, undergo at least 2 weeks of training with the owner of the company (a very particular veteran mover in the industry) before being set free to operate independently. All crew members undergo the same training and we typically only hire crew members who possess at least 2 years minimum professional moving experience. We don't send rookies, period.
