The two young men who did our job where great. Very efficient, friendly and neat. They did a wonderful job. We would use them again.

Our two helpers were wonderful!! Their names were Chris and MO We could not have ask for two harder workers than these two. They arrived on time, went right to work unloading our storage pod. The actual outside temperature was 94 degrees with high humidity--extreme working conditions, and they didn't stop for 2 hours. They were so polite and respectful, and placed our furniture and stuff every where we asked them. I don't know what they make as a wage, but as hard as they work, what ever it is could never be enough. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone, and for sure would call and use them again. Family Movers were on time and knew exactly how to get started packing my PODS unit. Chris and Tom were respectful of our furnishings and willing to go beyond the call by shrink wrapping fragile edges of furniture and paintings.

There was chaos as we had a cleaning crew and other service folks there at the same time and they took it all in stride.

They are true professional movers. I had them unload a container done by another company that was not satisfactory. That other crew were good workers, but did not stuff the container tightly enough, and put fragile boxes on the bottom, and other errors that showed their inexperience. If you want your stuff handled properly, and effecienty call these guys!

I would recommend this service to anyone trying to move at minimal expense! The two gentlemen who came to work were very well equipped, prepared to work and they worked continuously to complete the move in just under 2 hours.
I originally estimated the time to be three hours, and they informed me that I needed to contact Family Movers/Hire-A-Helper, via text message, to inform them that the job was completed and I would be credited back the cost of the additional hour, HOWEVER, I have not seen that hour credited back to my charge card. My compliments to the workers for a job well done, but disappointed that I was not credited back the hour of unused time. Either I was mislead by the workers, or the company has failed to make appropriate reimbursement.

What types of moves have you handled?
We are both labor and full service, for commercial, and residential. We also work for a Restoration company. We do a lot of Fire, Water, Mold where we clear out effected homes, then when the work in the home is done, we move it all back in. And set things back up.

Basic lifting techniques, communication between Movers, proper packing and padding techniques...
