They arrived on time and moved several pieces of heavy furniture up 3 flights of stairs. This was completed without any damage and very quickly. They were careful to cover the moved furniture and exposed floor area to prevent any damage.

Jared and Louis were two very well mannered and friendly young men. They were on the job early, started right in, did not take a break, and worked very hard until the job was done. They even packed some items in my son's truck for him. I can not speak highly enough of them. If they are representative of every one at Halkus, Inc, I would most definitely use them again.

During my move Rob showcased one of the most heroic displays of individual strength that I have witnessed in recent memory.
I hired one mover thinking that we could tag-team the effort. But each time I tried to grab one side of something he raised his hand and proclaimed "I got this" after which he proceeded to deadlift everything from the King Size mattress to the triple wide chest of drawers over his head and up to the apartment.
Not only did Rob execute the job with the speed and precision of a veteran surgeon (not a scratch left behind), but he colored the experience with robust conversation.
I would highly recommend Rob and his company to any friend or family member in need of an extra hand while moving - and I would certainly hire them again myself

These two guys were amazing. They loaded 5 rooms of furniture in 4 hours. Everything was packed very well and arrived safely after 1350 miles in the moving truck. If you don't want to get ripped off by the outrageous cost of a moving company consider renting a truck and hiring these guys for doing all the packing in the truck. With the Hire a Helpers, truck rental, fuel,tolls etc we saved over half of the cost of hiring a moving company.

It was a tough day for a move, over 90F and the attic had to be close to 110F. None the less they had to leave prior to the job being finished to "get ready for the next day", my next day was finishing loading the truck until nearly midnight...

What a great experience! Despite the fact that our job was scheduled late in the day, (after they'd already completed one move), our two "helpers" arrived on time and worked tirelessly to fill our 12-foot rental truck. Some items were in a PACKRAT storage pod, but many had to be brought up from the basement. They moved everything - from heavy antique furniture to boxes of fragile glassware - into the truck carefully, strategically placing all the items to ensure a safe trip to North Carolina. We will definetly be using them again in the future!

We provide training on moving fundamentals (moving things safely and efficiently, ways to manage moving difficult items), as well as how we treat our customers and the importance of taking care of their bodies and health, since this type of labor is strenuous.
