They never called showed up over three hours late. Told us they called us to tell us they were running late not true. Showed up with two minors to do the work not skilled movers. They never told us they were leaving. They just left. I called them and they said they told us they had another job. Never told us truck still had things to be unloaded. The hire helper offered a 50$ discount seriously. Never use this company.

There was lack of communication with Franklin Mover's for the help with our move. They did not show up during their scheduled window, did not have any gear with them and only one person showed up for the first hour.
We hired movers to help us not have to do the work but we ended up having to do quite a bit of heavy lifting.

Franklin Movers never showed but contacted me 6 times in a 2.5 hr period to say they were on their way. Joe in the office told me to call the drivers cell phone and give my new address. I told Joe the he himself has had my address for 6 weeks and why am I being told to call the driver directly. Joe said to call Chris. I gave my address's to ChrIs called me 6 times and I called him 4 times and got his vm 3 of the 4 times. Every time he called he'd say he was 45 mins out or 30 mins out etc. Finally 2.5 hrs. later he still did not show. I had to scramble to find movers the last minute in an unfamiliar town at 6:40 pm. My move cost me a fortune, high stress and anxiety level, frustration and total disbelief that any business would run their operation this way. If you want to be stranded with a truck to unload yourself be sure to contact Franklin Mover's. They are the company to completely disregard their customer's needs and their commitment to their customers. Hire-A-Helper was excellent throughout this ordeal and made the financial end right for me.
