Ron and Scott were both very hard and efficient workers. Despite not being provided any handling equipment by HireAHelper, they managed quite well with only a two wheeled dolly that I borrowed from my son. They loaded a POD storage container for us with most all of our townhomes heavy pieces of furniture and many other items. In addition, they moved all other items from our upstairs and basement areas to the garage for loading into the next POD. They were generally careful to avoid damage to any of our property and goods. We would be happy to have them assigned to work with us any time in the future.

Hired two movers to load up a Pod to store our belongings while we house hunted. One showed up a half an hour late which is a big deal when you only have two hours of elevator time as we were moving out of a high rise. We got everything out, but only because I was helping and had to move the couch, loveseat and mattresses.
The helper did report to me that he was on time, but because of your location ( SouthLoop )he tried to avoid the high parking fees by circling the block several times.

There was a small issue with the second guy not showing up the day we scheduled but the owner helped move as much as I needed into the house and the heavier items into the garage. He promised he would return with help to finish moving the remaining heavy items and did so without a hitch. All handled very professionally. Would definitely recommend this company and use them again in a heartbeat.

Two guys arrived on time and wasted no time getting the job done. Finished in two hours just as planned. They were careful not to damage walls doors moving large pieces of furniture.

The owner/operator of Move Assist Moving and Labor Service was terrible and very unprofessional. I had requested 2 movers to be at my house between the hours of 11 am and 12 pm. Only to recieved an email late the night before stating that the movers will be at the house at 9 am. That was not what was origionally agreed upon. I called Mark the owner and he told me that I had to pay from 9 am (the start time, that I did not agree too) to whenever the move was complete. The guy was very rude and unprofessional to say the least. Mark yelled at me and said that he had called and left a message the day before and that he had emailed me. He emailed me late the night before and never called to discuss the start time. My husband tried talking to Mark but all they did was yell at each other. Mark Levy is very unprofessional and rude, do not use his company. I REPEAT ---- DO NOT USE MOVE ASSIST MOVING AND LABOR SERVICE. The movers did a good job, they were upset at Mark and said that he always upset customers and then they have to deal with the aftermath of what he did.
