After the job was finished it took 3x as long as it should have, because one of the men had a pre-existing injury to his arm before even starting on my job. It was a nerve problem he said to me. It was inflamed and he was rubbing it a lot as soon as he arrived. I was thinking to myself how crazy i…read moret is for a company to send an injured worker to do a job. Needless to say, this man was not able to lift properly or in an efficient or timely manner. It was taking way too long and he was basically stopping mid stream several times while bringing the couch down the stairs.. They scratched the railing and the bottom of my couch. All they had to do was turn it over to it's side and I had to explain this to them. After several times mentioning this to them, then they decided to do it the right way. I thought to myself, first they send an injured worker, now I see they also sent people who were not familiar with how to move furniture properly and effectively. I personally had to help them lift on many occasions because they were not able to properly get the couch down the stairs. I swear several times I thought they were going to give up and leave. I also found myself giving instruction on how to maneuver the other furniture in a more efficient manner. Because of the disability of the one man they took 3x as long to do the job and they were not finished moving my stuff in this studio apt. What should have taken a 1/2 hour to one hour max, is now reaching 2 hours. I hurt my back in the process of helping them, but I felt I had no choice because they were struggling so much and I had to get the stuff in that night for moving the next day. They did not get everything out of this small studio apartment. Nevertheless, I woke up with a hurt back and pissed that I had to have such a poor experience, and now I'm left with furniture too heavy for me to move because they couldn't compete the job. It is unfair, unjust and unacceptable. I called the company directly and asked if they could come back for only 15 minutes more to complete the job. I explained everything to them but they seemed to ignore everything I was saying and would only say over and over to me that I would have to pay for 2 hours more. Which is ridiculous since they sent people who couldn't get the job done. As of now, I had no choice but to move the rest of the items myself. I am left with the feeling of being taken advantage of by an uncaring, unhelpful company. I called a few times to the company. They were unhelpful, uncaring and unresponsive to my needs and unwilling to find a solution or resolution. I will never use this company again. Show Response

I felt the two young men were very inexperienced in loading a truck,and one guy in particular kept on repeatedly complaining of being tired. I asked if he had worked a job before this,and I was told no , I am just tired.This was the first and only job of the day I was told by the guys.I aske…read mored them if they had ever loaded a truck before, and they said no, they have only unloaded a truck and loading is different and confusing.???? I think they were brothers if I am correct to their words. I repeatedly had to ask these two men to stack my boxes in the very back of the truck vs all along the side and back and blocking themselves in and only going 2 to three boxes high ,and I am not talking big boxes here.The two had to carry one box together at a time that was very light and dragging time out. They were just not worth the monies spent. I wish I had of went with a different company,but I went by ratings and by looking at some other areas of checking them out. Now, maybe it is pending on areas ,geographically speaking or other factors. I seen glowing reviews, but I noticed some of the areas also.I really wanted to go with this company as my wife said they were students and is high on people being educated and if this helped them to make it through school by having work to help out, lets use them. Maybe others did have entirely different experiences and I just happened to get a few guys who do not fit the great ratings on this company. I really do not enjoy leaving a bad rating, but I would do no justice to lie about my experience and hope that the supervisor deals with this so it does not happen to anyone else. I had to do a few things ,and I have had two major shoulder surgeries ,which is why I needed moving labor help for the first time.I did nothing to jeopardize myself thankfully.I felt like a babysitter.I just rated Copperstate Moving Co in AZ,they unloaded a 26' Penske truck and it was a 360 degree difference.Now this is how a company should be.The 3 unloaders were very personable,friendly,accomodating,paced themselves very well and I would recommend them in a hot minute. Literally. I mean these guys are moving people in the worst time of the year in AZ, monsoon season,and that has to be exhausting, but no complaints and the job was done and I was happy to tip them. If anyone needs help in the AZ Phnx metro area, please look up the company we used on this end and our review,it renewed our faith in the industry.Sincerely,John and Rhonda Balderrama PS, I hope this shows up,but your company response made no sense. Also, the two guys were hired as it was just a ground floor back up to the truck storage unit.More guys and time in AZ were needed as this was moving IN and up to a second story area vs just walking a few feet back and forth to a truck and a storage unit to put things in. Unloading and moving upstairs in high heat and longer distance is absolutely no comparrison nor fair to the unloaders in AZ. This comes from RHONDA! Show Response
