I have moved THIRTY times in my life and this experience by far was the best I ever had. Moving to me is the worst thing I have to do in my life - I hate it - but I venture to say that this experience was actually bordering on pleasant and certainly tolerable thanks to Joseph and team. I will go nowhere else for my move needs as long as good guy movers are in business. VIVA GOOD GUY MOVERS!
Superb communication ahead of time, punctual, conscientious, polite and no messing around - these guys are experts and come to get the job done. They treated my stuff with respect and went the extra mile to make sure I was happy.
My move was a Pod move and I was wringing my hands that I didn't get a large enough pod to fit all my things. Joe set my mind at ease and fulfilled the promise to work magic to make it all fit. Magic happened. They fit it all in with a shocking about of room to spare!
The last thing I want to say is, it was refreshing to have a team of movers who didn't gripe and complain and lay some passive aggressive vibes on you when they had to manage heavy items or tight spots/angles. This move required 4 flights and there were some pretty unweildy items and they did it all with grace, professionalism and a sense of humor.

They were really nice, respectful guys. Here is my problem: I had a 2 bedroom home with a basement. I'm an artist. No appliances, only 1 bedroom of furniture which was just a bed, vanity and very small nightstand. A lot of boxes and packed paintings and supplies.
Pack-rat assured me that their largest pod (which is what I got) fits up to 3to 4 bedrooms homes. I asked several times as I have PTSD from my last move where all of my things didn't fit on the truck and I lost 1/4 of my belongings.
The movers came and walked the house in the morning before they started and also assured me that everything would fit. Well it took them an HOUR to try to figure out how to get my couch that comes apart in 3 sections out the door. They then tried to charge me for that hour.
Then they drop the bomb after the promises made to me all would fit that a LOT did not fit. I mean a LOT.
My friend and I had to rent a trailer to pull from New England to California!
Neither of us had EVER driven pulling a trailer. This cost me an additional $1000, not to mention the gas and wear and tear on my car.
We were too afraid to get anything bigger than the smallest trailer so I still had to leave precious expensive items behind. I cry every time I think about it. I still had to pay an hour extra and I am VERY CONCERNED about the well being of my items. They are on their way here to be put in storage until I find a place and I am so worried. As nice as the owner and the guys were I cannot recommend them.
The cost was too great. I'm so upset.

Our move was a difficult one the weather was storming, the load to carry was very heavy and difficult and the helpers had a great attitude and performed greatly beyond expectations.

4 stars because I got 4 helpers for the price of 2. I'm docking a star because they showed up without blankets, which I intentionally did not buy extra, because I was told I could buy some from the moving company and that they would bring some. The boxes are packed to the door to keep everything from moving around, but only one rope was used to secure the items, which I may have to rework for piece of mind. Overall, great job, very respectful of my property and good compliance with requests made during the move.
