Time of arrival is prompt and meet schedule. Very professional and know "how to". This is my second move in Columbus and they are 100 times better than the mover I used last time! Defintely recommended to others and use HireAHelper again!

The move was scheduled for arrival time between 6 and 7 am. At 7:15 I contacted the mover, and they said they did not usually start before 9, and would be at house between 9 and 11. I informed him that they needed to arrive earlier because I had to be out of the home. The owner seemed upset with that, and said he did not get the move order from Hire A Helper until late the night before and could not respond to it. I informed him that that was not my problem; he needed to take it up with Hire a Helper, as I contracted with Hire A Helper for the job. The entire time the mover complained that the job needed 3 men and the POD was too small. Again, I informed the mover that his issue about the number of men should be discussed with Hire A Helper and not with me, as I did not determine the number of men for the job. The mover was about to put the dining room table on the truck, and I asked if he wasn't going to take the legs off like most movers do. He asked me if I had a phillips head screw driver, and I did not find out in my tool box. The mover seemed upset that I did not have one, and I informed him in a very frustrated manner that I was not supposed to supply him with the tools of HIS trade. I told him I was getting very frustrated that he could not properly load the POD and that he didn't have the tools necessary for the job. The mover then informed me that he could not finish the job and I should reschedule it, whereas I told him that I no longer owned the house because it settled to another owner the day before so rescheduling was not an option. As I was going to my car to get the phone number for Hire A Helper he yelled that he was leaving, and I yelled back that I would sue him if he left in the middle of the job. When I got back into the house I heard a car start up and realized that he and his helpers had left. I would never, never recommend such an unprofessional, untrained, and unprepared mover as Gr8labor. The movers that Hire A Helper sent after they left successfully loaded the POD, were very professional, and I would highly recommend them to ANYONE. I want to use them for when I unload the POD. Gr8labor had done some work for me before, and the owner told me that he was confused because he thought the request for this job was the same as the last job. Again, I told him that if he was confused he should have contacted Hire A Helper and asked about it before just ignoring the job and not reporting timely. I told him that I had contacted Hire A Helper weeks ago, and had no idea they were sending Gr8labor, so he should have cleared up his confusion with the contractor I hired, not argue with me about it.

These guys were fast, courteous, and were willing to do what it took to get furniture and boxes exactly where they were wanted. They finished the job much quicker than anticipated and were very prompt with their arrival time. I would definitely recommend them!

The helpers did not arrive on time. Said they had car problems. They did work hard and they were respectful of our property. It only took them one hour to complete the move. What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
That our team will call 30minutes or more before arrival and movers will be on time.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
The more organize the better the move will go if they have any questions our team is just a phone call away and will answer any question they may have. So the can rest assure they will have a great move.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have done alot of moves over the years local mostly some long distance even office moves. We have loaded and unload hundreds of pods and ABF trailers and so on. You name it we probably moved it pianos gun safes. Book us today thank you in advance for the business. Corporate moves and commercial moves are something we specialize in also thank you!
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Meeting new people everyday and just being able to help people with something they couldn't do without us because we are the pros and we love what we do.
What training do you provide your crew members?
We provide our crew with an extensive 20 hour mover training course which is industry standard. After training the trainee will be with one of our vet who has 10 years or more experience in the moving industry who can lead and guide our trainees in the right direction.
