Helping Hands Moving lived up to their promise. Dennis, their manager, had told me earlier that Courtney and Corey would do magic and they indeed did! We were able to take all the items that we wished to take (half of the items had already been shipped out) and pack them into two Relocubes of UPack. Courtney stood a few times in front of the Relocubes and imagined how items of varying sizes and shapes would / could fit in a limited space. And they achieved it! We took a large sofa, a King and a Queen bed, box springs, bicycle, exercise bike and treadmill, power generator, dinette set, etc., and a large number of 16-20 gallon plastic container boxes. They achieved it all in 2 hours that we had contracted for. Thanks!

They were on-time, paperwork took 12 minutes to fill out, should be done ahead of time to save time. The crew of 2 were very slow, moved one or 2 boxes at a time with a dolly and 2 aluminum chairs, very light with a dolly. Furniture wrapping took 10-15 minutes per item, should be 5 minutes. They were very interested at upselling supplies since I had everything, they took their time to load my PODS. This should have been a 2 hour or less job but they were not done after 2 hours so I had to let them go. My wife had movers a week later with 5 times more things and it took 3 of them to wrap and load everything in 2 hours. I am sure all the crews are not the same, I just happened to get a slow one.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
We typically call our customers within an hour of receiving notification of booking.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We always call our customers the day prior to moving to confirm the date and time. On the day of the move, our crew will show up with smiles on their faces and ready to work!
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
You can always call us with any questions prior to moving day. First and foremost, customers should RELAX. Items should be wrapped and packed in labeled boxes. Furniture pads should be purchased or rented - they are essential to protecting your belongings. If you are disassembling furniture before we arrive, put all hardware (screws, nuts, bolts) in a labeled baggie and tape it to the furniture or put it somewhere safe.
What types of moves have you handled?
You name it, we have done it! Labor services (loading, unloading, re-arranging furniture), Full Service Moves (white glove services with a truck), local moves, corporate moves, junk removal, deliveries.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
We have met some pretty awesome customers. Moving can be very stressful, so it's always nice to hear that we have alleviated the stress that is associated with moving.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our training methods are extremely hands on - our patient yet thorough crew leaders are experienced in teaching the industry's latest moving techniques to our newer staff members.
