I had a container from Storage that I needed unloaded. The gentleman that came to my house were very pleasant, punctual and professional.
My only issue is that I think that they should prorate you if you do not use the full 2-hr minimum.
I understand that is their policy and in some cases I'm sure people have more than 2 hours worth of work but they've only booked for 1 hr (if that was an option) so i get why they do it. However, in my case the gentleman were only here for 50 minutes and I still had to pay for the full 2 hours!
I chose not to tip because of this and I can only hope that the company gives the money for the extra hour not used to the workers who helped me because they did a great job!

both of the guys that came to help us load our household furnishings worked the entire time that they were here. it was very hot and all of us were really feeling the heat. i can't say anything negative about the two guys other than the fact that they were about 45 minutes late. since we were relocating out of the area, we were really anxious to get on the road. i would hire them again.

I had 2 guys for 2 hours to carry my furniture up to a second floor condo and they did a fantastic job. They even put moving blankets down on the ground where they had to set my leather couch down on its side

How should a customer prepare for moving day?
I always tell my customers that the most important part of preparation is having miscellaneous items packed into boxes for us to carry out. The same goes for glass and fragile items inside of drawers and cabinets, safely pad and box them separately for transport or have your service provider handle the box packing if it is part of the service.
What types of moves have you handled?
I handle both commercial and residential moves. I've handles specialty items, rare finds, antiques, statues, pianos, safes, fine art...
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
The most satisfying part of being a mover is the smile on my client's face once they realize that their belongings are in good hands. My favorite part of this career is that I'm always building new relations and meeting new people with unique stories and up-comings.
What training do you provide your crew members?
All crew members are trained to attend to details. Anybody can man handle a piece a furniture, but it takes a trained mover to disassemble, pad, wrap and safely handle significant belongings with care. This is especially important when it comes to baby grand pianos, safes and appliances.
