We hired CNS for a move in Bloomfield, NJ. We had one bedroom and a couch to move, and I provided the truck. The movers communicated with me in advance, showed up right on time, and worked really hard and finished within the 2 hours. They were both courteous and pleasant to work with. In the entire move, only one light bulb was broken - not even a scratch or dent on anything else, so I was very impressed. I am not sure I saved a lot of money over just hiring a moving company, but I felt I had complete control over the timing and logistics this way, and that was of key importance to me. I would highly recommend these folks to anyone.

The 2 guys showed up on time and worked their butts off. It was almost 100 deg. outside, not fun. They were super careful with everything and very respectful and polite. The coolest thing is that the guys that were supposed to help me fell through that day, so I found Hire A Helper from another company I called from the internet, and they were here probably within 3 hours of my making the initial call. A crappy starting day turned out to be great because everything I had planned on got done after all!!

CNS Moving Service was great. They arrived on time and got right to work. They moved my items with care and were very respectful. The temperature was pushing 100 degrees and those guys didn't fade one bit. I'd definitely recommend them to whoever needs loading and unloading help.

This was the best thing I ever did. I honestly would have been messing around with this move all day. These guys got my stuff into a third floor walk-up in a little over an hour. They even took apart and rebuilt my dining room table because it wouldn't fit in the door. AMAZING job.

So my girlfriend talked me out of a midnight drive from Boston to NY, so I texted CNS the night before a planned 8am move in. They were able to reschedule me the same day at noon. HUGE help!
They were on time, had a dolly, and my gosh did they hustle, while still taking good care of my things. I will definitely use them again when I have to move out.

While the price was very reasonable, I booked a start time from between 3:00 and 4:00 PM since I was loading my truck in CT earlier that morning and driving to Long Island. I booked two helpers for three hours. They called at noon wanting to start at 2:00 and they wanted to switch it to three helpers for two hours. I explained to them that I would not be there until 3:00 but as long as the truck was unloaded in the two hours, I was fine with the three helpers for two hours. They showed up at 2:00 anyway and then when I arrived around 3:00, they worked very fast but that led to some damage to furniture, walls, and floors. Each box was clearly marked with its desitnation yet attic boxes ended up in the basement and basement boxes ended up on the second floor. They were clearly in a rush to head somewhere else.

I was extremely pleased with CNS Moving Service. They came two hours earlier then I expected, but this was not a problem for me. I had hired them to help me unload a "POD"-style moving container. They had it completely emptied in just under 2 hours--I was thrilled. Nothing was broken or damaged (walls, furniture, etc.). I highly recommend CNS and would certainly use them again.

On the negative side, the workers arrived without ANY equipment (which I specified they bring), arrived late and took a long time. However! On the positive side, they did a VERY impressive job packing a 10 foot truck totally to the brim without hurting any of my things. In all: Terribly unprepared but extremely good at working under less-than-optimal circumstances.
