They were courteous, friendly and moved all of my property with care and packed the truck very neatly. If I ever know anyone in Raeford that need help with their moving needs I will definitely recommend Pack and go with Vernon Jones.

They arrived right on time and completed the job well within the time frame I requested. They worked hard and overall I was OK with their work. However they were careless with the furniture as they loaded it on the truck. I was not aware that they were not using the furniture pads I had rented for that purpose. The result was some minor scratching on our furniture. Also their loading of a 20' truck was not very efficient. They barely had room in the truck for a one bedroom home. They admitted they would have packed it differently, but they thought they had too much room in a truck that size.

The movers I had were excellent however communication with the company was not a strong suit. Unlike HireAHelper tells you, they did not contact me within 24 hours and it took repeated phone calls on my end to confirm the dates. The day of, they were late and I had to call to make sure they were coming. They said there was an issue with one of the tires and they would be there within an hour. They were an additional half hour later than that estimate. The workers themselves were lovely, efficient and loaded everything in a timely manner and it seemed to be well packed.

While the movers were scheduled to come for 2 hours and arrive between 5-6 pm, they called just after 3 pm to say they were 15 minutes away. We had planned our day to be ready for them by 5 and has specifically requested that time, so while I suppose it is better to be early than late, it did force us to scramble at the last second. The movers themselves did a fine job, one of the movers was especially helpful and nice.

My furniture and appliances were scratched, dented, and damaged badly. There was no organization of the stuff being loaded. My fiancé had to help rearrange and move stuff while sick and in severe back pain. We hired movers from Craig’s list afterwards and had a 110 times better experience and outcome. I would never hire or recommend this company to anyone.
