Problems: 1) Incorrect GPS instructions for the drivers made them late. Maybe detailed instructions via email might be good. 2) GPS sent them onto private property which was damaged as they tried to leave.
Helpers: Could NOT have asked for better guys. Even though things were working against them - location AND a major storm, they worked VERY hard - up and down steps. They worked quickly and handled all of our belongings carefully. I AM going to use HIRE A HELPER again in a couple of weeks.

My helpers kept us informed about their arrival time. When the arrived the not only worked hard but they worked smart. They took great care unloading 11,200 lbs of household furniture and goods. They cleaned up the area when the job was complete. I would highly recommend them.

Changed time from 0800 to 1200 arived about 12:15 but time worked out better.
Should have had furniture mover for heavy item.

Do not book with these guys. It all started great when their manager, Colton, called me to confirm my moving needs, date, and time within an hour of booking them on Hire-A-Helper. He said no problem for a 2 man crew for 4 hours. Well, True Movers cancelled on me less than 2 hours before they were supposed to show up. I had already picked up my rental moving truck and had everything staged and ready to go. Since I was up against a deadline - I sold my house and was closing in 2 days - True Movers, and specifically their manager Colton - left me high and dry due to another job they apparently had that morning. Luckily I managed to hire a few neighborhood kids looking to earn some cash and get it done on the schedule I needed. So bottom line, don't waste your time with Colton and True Movers, because they will sure waste yours.

Coleton and Chris were great. They were very professional and personable. My arrival day and time were uncertain and Coleton kept in communication and was able to adjust the actual time to work for us. I would highly recommend this company; they worked quickly and efficiently.
