Anthony and Dominic were the helpers that we were given. They were late to arrive, however, they did call us to let us know. The call was made after we had picked up the truck. They were not prepared …read moreas they did not bring the hand truck for moving and loading heavy items. They had no idea how to carry heavy items so my spouse had to instruct them. Anthony disappeared for several minutes, and Dominic did not continue with the move until Anthony returned. When Anthony returned, he picked up a box of CDs and dropped them. Some were damaged along with their cases beyond repair. One of the CD's broke. Dominic said that any damaged items would be replaced or credit would be given. One of my ceramic tables was broken at the base, and several items of furniture were dented. It was probably due to their lack of experience as both helpers indicated that they had only been doing this for a short time. Before I finalized this transaction, I called and you said only professionals were hired. That is not true so I hold you partially responsible. I requested a refund of $100 by text message as A and D never returned my calls. I spoke to Siobhan on October 12, 2009 and gave her my credit card information, and she said the refund should appear on my credit card with 24 to 48 hours. To date, the refund as not happened. I thought the $100 was a fair amount as replacement costs would probably be a lot less. We ran over the two hour inital amount so I paid them $120 in cash, and we had to keep the truck an additional day as my spouse and I had to complete the move ourselves. I am 65 and my spouse is 68 and he has rheumatoid arthritis. This is the last thing we wanted to have to do. If I had known they wouldn't stand by their word, I wouldn't have given them any additional funds. The A and D helpers were extremely slow, and they kept receivi Show Response
