Unreliable - do not book Texas Moving Center. I booked them for a Sunday morning loading job and they did not show up. They even called and confirmed the day before. I went over address and time with them in that confirmation call. Come Sunday morning, neither me nor HireAHelper could reach them. Didn't answer any of their phones. Almost ruined our move. I was able to find someone last minute but paid 3x what I had planned to.

Mover's response:

Sorry for the inconvenience. The guys that worked that day had a family emergency and did not advise anyone on staff. Due to that we had not only you but other customers that didn't get the service that day. We did pay for part of your move under HH policy. Also those guys are no longer working with us. You can see that the reviews will never say something like this again in the futur. Thank you and again our deepest apologize.

Movers were almost an hour late. They claimed because of weather. We had only a few minutes of rain. One, Greg I believe, worked very hard, the other was on his phone a lot. I provided cold water for them and I found discarded water bottles throughout my apt even though there were several trash bags that I was using. They did get the job done in the allotted amount of time but I feel they rushed because they still had other jobs after ours.

Texas Moving Center was fantastic. They were very accommodating with my schedule and were able to come 1.5 hours earlier than I booked with little notice (I arrived earlier than expected at the unload destination). They worked so quickly and efficiently in the 100 degree heat and made my unload seamless. The best part was a very affordable rate. I would definitely recommend and use them again!

The only good thing I can say about the 2 movers that were sent from this company to unload our furniture is that they were on time. Everything else after was a nightmare. Many furniture pieces left scratched or ruined. Prior to the move it was established that we would need a queen & king bed disassembled & reassembled. It was the major thing we hired the movers for as these are some of the heaviest items. However, an hour before they were scheduled to finish they told us they did not do that. They proceeded to get aggressive and angry when we contacted management that this was the main thing we needed done. Needless to say, they left, and only partially disassembled, but did not move one of the beds. Forcing us to have to move one bed from one apartment to the other ourselves. Then we had to build both beds ourselves. Beyond the $2,000+ worth of furniture damaged, and the unprofessional nature of the movers, I would definitely not recommend this company to anyone.

We strive to make all moves easy and fast... Due to errors on the loading side you were on the edge and we chose to leave as soon as our agreed time was over. Being in an environment that is not comfortbale is not easy for anyone. We tried to point out the damages prior to unloading and you refused to acknowledge and procceded to blame us! This is a false review, " queen & king bed disassembled & reassembled", we only unloaded therefore could not have disassembled a bed. Thank you for the review, we know moving is stressful, but can't blame use for something that happened during loading
