The Conquistador moving service were wonderful movers! They showed up right on time, and worked quickly and efficiently. They made use of all the furniture blankets I provided, and were able to fit all of my belongings into my 16' foot pod even though it was a tight squeeze (I honestly didn't believe it would all fit, but they put the Tetris puzzle together quite well and got it all in)! Furthermore, they did all this within the time-frame that I paid for. I would definitely recommend them!

They did a very good job and were very quick in getting all of my stuff unloaded from my moving truck and into my apartment. The reason I gave them 4 stars is because they did not contact me the day of the move to let me know what time they would be arriving. I attempted to call both contact numbers and got no answer and was unable to leave a voicemail.

The crew was on time and very courteous. They worked hard and packed the truck tight. I have to give them great compliments and credit for that.

Unfortunately, it seems I knew more about how to protect my furniture than they did. I bought four boxes of moving pad blankets ahead of the move. They only used two and a half of the boxes. I had to tell them to wrap certain pieces of furniture with the blankets, and I figured they would wrap the other wooden furniture. I spent some of my time outside by the truck and some inside the house helping to clear and clean as the crew moved the boxes and furniture out. The crew failed to wrap any of our wooden bedroom dressers or bedroom furniture with the moving pads, even though they sat there. I shouldn't have had to supervise their every move. You would think a moving crew would know to pad wooden furniture with the moving blankets that were provided right beside the truck.

I also had to tell them explicitly to use the mattress bags to protect our mattresses, even though I set them beside the truck and showed them to the team leader. As the crew was loading the truck I had to say, "Hey, please take that mattress bag and put it on that mattress!" That shouldn't be necessary.

When we unloaded the truck one of our headboards was severely damaged (it wasn't wrapped.) Most of the wood furniture that was not wrapped was scuffed or dinged. I had the supplies to prevent this right by the truck. They failed to use them. We also found a box of dishes crushed underneath several boxes of books. Thoughtful packing would have prevented this when the boxes were clearly labeled.

Nice guys. Nice try. However, they should have used the supplies given to protect the furniture, and I shouldn't have to stand there and tell them that.

Eric and George were outstanding.
They arrived on time and stayed extra time to complete the job. They were pleasant courteous, respectful of our belongings, explained everything thoroughly and knew exactly what they needed to do to get the job done perfectly!
They expertly loaded our 3 bedroom home into 16 foot and seven foot containers which took seriously careful and complicated puzzle work. It was amazing ! I have nothing but admiration and high praise for these two and the job they were able to do. Highly recommend!!
