I hired 4 men and I was sent 1 man and his three kids. While two were doing something the other two stood and wathced until I told them that the other two could start carrying stuff out. A four hour job turned into 7 hours because they were not trained movers. They broke a $200 mirror and offered a $10 reduction for it. They …read more

Would never use again. They were 4 hours late which caused a very negative chain of events with extra expense and delay in moving.. We hired 2 Helpers to move a mountain (70+ boxes @ 60 lbs each) from the back alleyway into our basement. The Helpers were on time, polite, and got the job done in record time. In the end, we had to restack a few of the boxes for safety but we were profoundly grateful for the assistance and would hire them again.

We used Hire a Helper in St. Louis and Chicago. Both were awesome! I would like to add that the two young men that helped us in St. Louis were some of the hardest workers we've encountered and very friendly.
