Michael Lucero worked with my changing schedule. He arrived on time. He worked miracles regarding packing the too small truck. Unfortunately, his helper (Kenny) arrived late, left early and spent way too much time on his phone. Kenny even roped my son into helping HIM.

The two guys sent out were okay although a little chatty. It worked out since I had two other people of my own keeping an eye on them and loading the truck. The real reason I would not recommend this outfit is the owner. Two days before they were scheduled to show, he calls wanting to reschedule MY time to accommodate one of the guys he wanted to send because this other guy had a regular job elsewhere. If he didn't have the manpower, he should not have accepted the job. Day of the move, when they were done, the guys told me I had an hour to contact the system for payment - I was in the middle of trying to help my daughter dismantle a bedframe that required support and I told them I'd handle it as soon as my hands were free and I could look up the payment contact info. The guys left and less than 30 minutes later Mike, the owner, calls, extremely rude, accusing me of not paying him, yelling about how he has to pay his guys, that I have to drop what I'm doing right now or else (or else what?) - I was shocked and let him carry on like this for a couple minutes. A few minutes later I contacted the payment process and it was done, but lord almighty no one needs to tolerate that kind of rude, unprofessional behavior from someone they are paying for a service; a cross country move is already stressful enough. Mike is unprofessional, lacks proper organizational capability, and expects the customer to accommodate his wants/needs instead of the other way around. Do not hire Conquistador.

Mover's response:

My workers ask you several times to pay when they were done but instead you said you would get around to it sometime later or tomorrow. We get paid when we're done and its unfair for you to think that i should wait days for you to pay. This customer was already mad because she had problems with renting her moving truck. I adjusted the start time for her several times because she was clueless about where to get her moving truck. She was helped by my company even though she made everything 10 times harder then it had to be

¦Knowledgeable: Knows how to unload pod without extra shifting of boxes. ¦Flexible and Accommodating: Went with my plan because I had a vision of where items would go. Moved the bed another 2 inches to the right. And then another 2 inches. ¦Knows Priorities: Did all the heavy lifting that I can't do and left easy things like removing shrink and bubble wrap to me for later. ¦Worked until everything was inside my apartment despite it being Sunday.

I had Eric and I can't remember the other movers name. They were both wonderful. I have moved over 20 times and, hands down, they were some of the best. They were timely, respected my space, packed the POD beautifully (like a live game of Tetris), and were very kind. I highly recommend this company and Eric, and the other mover to anyone who wants a quality and efficient move!
