While the crew from Assured Moving were able to get the job physically done, the movers themselves seemed inexperienced. They caused damage to walls and floors (hardwood and laminate flooring). Furthermore, they did not know how to wrap furniture - I spent about $450 on purchasing good quality moving pads and blankets etc in order to protect the furniture as it is expensive and am really disappointed. All the furniture in our home had been delivered with 2 men only each time and we never had damage to walls or floors. We had requested 3 movers, actually got 4 but they still weren't able to do the job properly. I am most disappointed as our furniture was damaged. An expensive marble dining table was cracked/ split into 2 pieces. This was due to being incorrectly loaded into the PODS by the movers and was preventable. Instead of being placed vertically along the wall of the POD (between the wooden posts/ beams), it was placed horizontally against one of the posts/ beams with furniture pushing against it resulting in breakage. Several other pieces have been scratched - including the buffet due to dragging the hutch across the surface, the armchair was dragged instead of being lifted causing damage to the wooden legs... I would not recommend these movers to anyone with quality furniture.

I was in the need of some last second moving labor help. I was worried that with such short notice, it may not be possible. But they were quick to show up, efficient workers, and very respectful with my items they moved. I would definitely use them again.

Hire a helper overbooked. We were told by 3 different employees the crew would be "just a minute," "any moment" and after 4 hours of waiting, they showed up. They worked late into the night and did not finish. They did not even use the blankets we rented from Pensky. We had to leave the next morning by 9 am to make the movers at 2pm on the other end, but instead, we had to try finish loading ourselves. We did make arrangments for their return to finish the job the next morning. The supervisor said he wanted to see this job through and told us he would "not charge" us and would send a crew "right now" That never happened. Instead, a crew did show up at 9am, the time we were scheduled to leave. We sent them away. It was way too late. We left a garage full of possessions, including our canoe and our bikes, my flowers, our patio set and a bed. We were charged $900 plus to have it removed and they damaged our Samsung refrigerator so badly, it must be kept as a spare in the garage. Hire a help cost us a few thousand dollars in loss and damages. We are moving forward to get a full refund. Should we fail, we will contact the Attorney General.

Came a bit later than announced and weren't super motivated -- but it was a tough move on a hot day with the elevator broken. Did their job.

They missed the arrival window. I called and texted the boss and got no response. I called the alternate number and a woman said she would contact him and call me back. I called her back after 30 minutes and she gave me an alternate phone number for him. I arranged with the boss to have them come three hours later in the evening. The crew called me 90 minutes later and said they were on the way, their boss never relayed the message to them. When they did arrive, the crew had clearly already had a long day and did not want to be here. They didn't follow instructions, took clearly labeled boxes to the wrong rooms, said they couldn't put together any of our beds since they "didn't disassemble them and wouldn't know how to put them back together" and worst of all CALLED THEIR FRIENDS TO COMPLAIN ABOUT HOW MUCH STUFF WE HAD WHILE WE WERE PAYING THEM TO MOVE US. They did such a bad job I sent them away after 2 1/2 of the 3 hours we'd paid for. Nobody ever apologized for any portion of the experience, these guys are a must avoid. I probably won't ever use Hire a Helper again based on this experience. I've never hired less competent movers.

They were coming from Portland, which I was not aware of. They were prepared for the job, and worked very hard. All our property made it to the new house fine with no issues. Our guys needed some guidance, but I would use them again.

THEY WERE ON TIME,CALLED AHEAD, WORKED QUICKLY AND CAREFULLY, BROUGHT THE NECESSARY SUPPLIES. MY ONLY COMPLAIN WAS THE MIN. FOR THREE HOURS, THEY WERE DONE IN 45 MIN. RATHER COSTLY.
