The only reason that they get a three stars from me, instead of two stars, is because the owner made a small attempt to make it up to me. I WOULD NOT use them again. I explained the situation about how I was disabled, and therefore needed help packing and moving from one apartment to another within the same complex. I said the doors were 200 feet away from each other, so a truck probably wasn't needed. The owner agreed that a truck would be a waste. (The distance was closer to 300 feet) I ordered 3 guys for 3 hours. The first crew sent showed up late, with only two guys. They took their time packing and moving things. There was quite a bit of complaining from them, as though the job had not been communicated, and they were rather slow and lazy. They asked how I wanted things packed and moved, and then proceeded to ignore me completely. Only 1 of the two guys really seemed motivated. After three hours, I couldn't take any more, as I ended up doing as much work, if not more, than they did. I called the owner, explained the situation, and requested a new crew the following day. He said he'd "cut me a deal". That night and the following morning I spent several hours packing and carefully labeling things, since it was clear that I could depend on them to pack things. The next day, I got a new crew of two people, instead of three. They moved much faster and were more motivated than the previous crew, but still couldn't follow directions. Most of the boxes ended up in places they didn't belong, even though everything was carefully labeled. Some things that were meant for the bedroom were in the garage, things for the kitchen were in the bedroom, etc. I ended up having to dig through a BUNCH of boxes to find specific things that I needed immediately. The Advertisement says that they have uniforms. They don't. They also don't bring dollies and hand trucks with them. (in other words, don't believe their advertisement. Look at their rating on Yelp and those sorts of places, don't trust the hire-a-helper site) Some furniture was not place where I wanted it, like the very heavy king size bed, but they had left by the time I found out about it. The owner charged me less than his going rate for two hours of work, but the move should have been finished the PREVIOUS day! Another day of MY time was worth MUCH MORE than a total of $30 that the owner was offering. Aside from that, I had hurt myself so badly trying to compensate for these guys that I could hardly walk the next day. Finally on day THREE, I thought I'd give the owner one more chance to redeem himself and his company. I asked them to send one guy over for less than an hour's work, repositioning things. He said he'd send someone over around noon. No one showed up, and no one called me. If you have the time, patience, and stamina to stand over these guys and supervise EVERYTHING, then go with them. If you want a no hassle move, find someone else. (Final note: the owner's solution to every problem was to fire the movers, as though that was the way to make the customer happy. I told him that they needed a supervisor to give better supervision and direction to the crew. Had they had some training and instruction, it would have taught them a lot more than just firing them.) Total of 8 hours with two guys to move a 900 sq ft apartment.

The movers were great! They showed up on time, were professional and courteous, and treated my belongings with care like they were their own. Very helpful and understanding of my circumstances (broken foot) they were very helpful in getting everything where it needed to be to make less work for me. I would recommend them to anyone looking for good, reliable movers... In fact, I have, to my mom!
