I have over five (5) years of professional exp. handling (all breeds/sizes/temperaments of dogs), bathing, grooming, and caring for dogs in both a medical and salon environment. I worked with the Executive Internship Program (EIP) for a full semester during my senior yr. of high school where I was placed in the SPCA of Tampa Bay's Treatment/Medical dept. There, I observed and assisted CVT's, bathed, fed/watered/administered oral med.'s to patients, kept logs of new intakes and those that had to be euthanized, sterilized surgical instruments/floors/cages and entire kennels, and observed several surgeries (i.e., spays and neuters). I have worked for boarding/daycare facilities that offer grooming and bathing, where I learned how to properly clip nails and express anal glands all in a thorough but time-efficient manner. I am a 23 yr. old female who graduated with my BA degree from USF in Dec. 2008. I am an avid animal lover (an understatement!) and am very detail-oriented and sensitive to specific owners' needs. I am open to any/all offers! Fees are very negotiable (i.e., Every owner deals with different circumstances: type/size/personality of dog, location, services required, etc.).
