The move went well, kind of...the two gentlemen were here on time. They were friendly, polite and worked quickly to get the truck loaded. They did it without a scratch on anything. They loaded the truck so well that during the drive to the new home, nothing moved or shifted at all. The unloading process and moving it into the new home didn't go so well. They were careless with many of the items. Most all of the items now have severe scratches and heavy non removable scuff marks. When I asked where one piece of furniture was, they responded - " we broke it, do you want us to bring it in or leave it in the truck"? I called the owner and explained my disappointment and his reply was "this never happened before" and that "it's not about the money" - their ad says "We guarantee your happiness" "Specializing in White Glove Care" This was not my experience. Not once did the owner offer to refund a portion of the full payment I made to them nor did he offer to pay for the broken furniture. At first I was going to leave a 3 rating of Less Satisfied, after speaking with the owner, I decided to leave a rating of 2, Poor.

The NE Moving Labor movers were fantastic - very friendly, showed up 15 minutes early, and were very amenable to my specific needs. I would definitely recommend them to others!

I was very happy with the service provided. The 2 gentlemen showed up on time and were very nice. They quickly unloaded the truck and helped assemble my daughter's bed for me. As a single mother I really appreciated having two really respectful and kind young men helping with what seemed like an overwhelming job to do alone. As an afterthought I realized that they were finished before the two hours I paid for and I probably would have asked for help with a few other things...like carrying boxes and wrappings, etc. to the dumpster close by. But that being said, it was my fault for not asking. I would definitely hire NE Moving Labor again. It was well worth the price but more importantly the support that I needed in getting the job done was awesome.

I booked NE moving labor help last minute to help me load nursery furniture to a truck at babiesrus, then unload and assemble the furniture set at my apartment. The two helpers arrived on time and were very courteous. They worked fast and very carefully and also did an excellent job with the assembly. When they were done, they took the initiative of moving the empty boxes to the dumpster and vaccuming the baby's room.
I was very happy with their service and would hire them again if needed.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Anything that you can do ahead of time will make the move go smoother. Pack all items into boxe with closed tops.
What types of moves have you handled?
We can all types of local moves including double closings, evictions, new apartments, office jobs, commercial jobs, residential jobs, and storage jobs.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part about being a mover is taking the stress of someones move on for them so they can focus on other aspects of their move. People have a lot to worry about when finding a new place to live and we want to make sure the move is stress free.
What training do you provide your crew members?
We do a 2 day in depth training. First day is orientation including watching videos on what to expect and what is expected. Second day is in the warehouse practicing onsite skills including padding, packing, loading and unloading of furniture, boxes, large items including safes and pool tables. After that they shadow a long time mover or lead guy until they feel comfortable.
