The movers arrived an hour late to start loading. I had reserved them for 3 hours to load. We coordinate hundreds of shipments and know how long it should take to load 14 feet of space. We had informed the movers to call us if there were any problems. 1.5 hours into our 3 hours, the crew started complaining about the time reserved. Finally, after we complained to the owner's contact, the movers continued to work and actually sped up a bit. They stayed an additional hour but left before the job was finished, stating that they had to get back to pick up a child from preschool. If the movers had been on time to start with, or had worked efficiently, they would have completed the job. We paid someone else to finish loading the 14 feet. Certainly not representative of the normally good movers that we have used from Hire A Helper.

I needed 3 movers for a 24 foot moving truck for 2 hours. The three movers: Joe, Rich and Jim introduced themselves. were courteous and efficient.
They worked with minimal complaint in almost 100 degree weather. I would use this service again. Highly recommended.

They were awesome. We had packed the truck ourselves at one location and they met us at the 2nd location to help with bigger furniture. They pulled out some stuff we had packed and re-arranged things to fit perfectly with hopes of minimal shifting. They were quick, polite, and needed little direction. I would recommend them to anyone looking for great workers! Thanks for the help!

The helpers were right on time and the work started immediately. They even offered to assemble the beds, but I passed the offer. They try hard to bring the sofa in which was not able to go thru the front door. They have to use the front porch sliding glass door to bring the sofa in taking into account that my home was at the second floor. Overall, they did a good job.
