Packed the truck well. Was careful and paid good attention. Plus: Despite the scorching 3-digits heatwave, they still came on time and finish the job well. FYI: They do have a business license.

J&E showed up in the requested time slot for our move out and got right to work. It was a very hot day and they kept a good pace the entire time, even though we were on the third floor. We honestly couldn't have done it without them. Josh packed the truck like a boss and I was really impressed when we got in there to unload. All of our goods made the 400 mile trip unharmed. I can definitely recommend J&E for your moving needs, as they were friendly, attentive, hardworking and professional.
This part of the of the review is for Hire A Helper. I would recommend lengthening your recommended time based on house size. We had quite a bit of stuff to move after the movers left, at no fault of their own. It would have been absolutely impossible for 2 guys to move all of our stuff from the 3rd floor, in 2 hours. Overall, we were satisfied with Hire A Helper and would use them again.

I could have handled them being an hour late and smelling so strongly of cigarettes my house smelled when they left, but they completely trashed our things.
We hired them to load a truck for a cross country move. They didn’t tie anything down or cover any of my furniture with moving blankets or furniture straps I had provided.
They put heavy boxes on top of things clearly marked fragile.
I feel so disrespected that they treated our belongings so carelessly.
