I had requested 11:00 - 12:00, company changed to 3:00-4:00, they showed up at 5:00. By this time the movers were exhausted from working all day. I didn't have that much furniture to move to the POD and everything else was already in the garage. They wasted about a 1/2 hour assessing and they were very slow but pleasant & respectful. They split up moving things at first and only worked together at the end with the house furniture which I asked them to do first. It cost me an additional hour and two heavy items didn't get into the POD. If they had planned better only a few boxes would of been left that I could deal with. My husband passed away so I had to deal with this on my own. The movers were too tired to work that late. Company shouldn't book that late.

Lewis moving company was on-time, polite, thoughtful and worked hard and consistently throughout the job. They definitely knew their stuff. The job did take a lot longer than I would have liked, but to be fair I don't know how much of that was my own overly optimistic expectations. We had some complicated items and plenty of loose items, and this does take time. In the end, they made it work and they did what they were asked,

They were 1 1/2 late and only loaded a few items because me and another helper who showed up on time, had 99% loaded by the time they arrived. Yet I had to pay for 2.men 2 hrs. = $375 which was a loss of money.

I can't begin to express how awesome these guys were! They came on time, were extremely respectful of me and my "stuff", and packed our Pods container efficiently and quickly. I highly recommend Lewis moving company.
