These guys were awesome and we'd use them again in a heartbeat. They helped us finish the job ahead of schedule and then spent the rest of the time helping us secure boxes and items inside our moving truck. Great experience and will totally use them and the hire a helper service again - the automated payment facilitated by Hire a Helper via text was really helpful since the last thing I wanted to do was dig around for my checkbook or try to figure out if we had cash on hand…. all around, using these movers via Hire a Helper made our move a lot easier.

Phil and Greg were on time, and prepared. I had some large and heavy furniture which they handled masterfully. They worked hard from start to finish and even helped me to assemble some of the pieces. They didn't complain if I had a box mislabeled and it needed to be moved, and were fun to be around, even joking with me about some particularly heavy bags - they were never unprofessional however. I would use them again in a heartbeat and would recommend them to anyone.

The movers were on time, and were wonderfully helpful and professional. They treated our things with respect and were great at unpacking and unloading as well. They did not mind assembling our furniture and relocating a few things in the rooms when we had to. They did not rush the work like other moves, we will definitely use them again when we move out!

These guys are excellent and would highly recommend them to anyone! I had scheduled a rental truck but was having problems when it was late for pickup. The truck was scheduled for pickup at 10am. Once there, the company told me there was going to be a delay until 2pm. OB moving were coming at 1pm to help me move. I told Phil and Greg things were going to be delayed but they offered to stay and wait. Come 2pm, I did not hear anything from the rental truck company so I called. They then told me the truck would not arrive until 330pm. Again, I had to wait and tell Phil and Greg this. At 330pm, again no rental truck. The truck company told me I could rent a smaller truck at 5pm. At this point I cancelled the truck rental and told Phil and Greg this. Having waited all day, the two offered to come back the next day as well as bring their own rental truck to help me move. These guys pulled through! Not only were they on time, prepared, worked hard, and courteous, they also helped me move at the last minute when the rental truck company failed their services. In the future I will definitely use OB moving along with Phil and Greg again!

Phil and Greg are so nice, friendly and pleasant to work with. They did such a wonderful job loading my container and carefully tied my bed to the piles of boxes to secure it even before I asked them to. They are your go-to guys in Ithaca! I highly recommend them.

These guys are simply the best in the area. Very polite, punctual, and will handle your furniture, boxes and other equipment with an utmost respect for all my goods. Even during my initial phone conversation, they suggested things I should purchase or pack a certain way for better stability during transportation. Completed the work in record time, and even offered to help move my luggage into my car. Will definitely use them again.

I only had a two day warning before I needed to move. At first I thought that this would be impossible until I found the OB moving company on HireAHelper.com. The movers had many good qualities. They worked hard and efficiently. They took care to be respectful of my furniture and used plenty of padding when packing the moving van. The move was done faster than I had expected. Furthermore, the movers were very personable and had a positive attitude. I will use them again on my next move.
