No Show. No call from JC Movers
I did Receive a call 10 minutes prior to their arrival time from a rep from hire a helper. She explained to me that JC movers was not going to show up. Some kind of miscommunication on JC movers part. She was marking them as a no-show . But she worked diligently and found another 5 star company that could show up immediately. Thank goodness for hire a helper who saved the day!!
Please think again before using JC Movers. We paid a lot of money for them to not even show up or bother to call. My first warning should have been when a month prior to our move date I get a text message from one of their employee asking me to pay through PayPal and receive a discount. I find out later that employee was trying to fraud several customers out of money. Thankfully I didn’t fall for that scam. I almost canceled with them and rescheduled with somebody else but I wanted to give them the benefit of doubt. I should’ve gone with my gut. Either way Brandy with hireahelper saved the day so that I am grateful!

J.C. Movers & Lumpers completed the job we hired them to do. They had some issues with arriving late and with not providing the requested number of movers but they got the job done. Their crew took good care of our items. All of them worked hard, and they were kind and respectful. In the end the owner reduced the fees to make me happy and accurately represent their work. This seems to be a good company who did not have their best day with us, but in the end they did the right thing and they also accomplished the job. I would be willing to use them again.

The four movers did a great job for us packing two pods. They were exceptional at figuring out how to maximize packing the pods!

Movers didn't keep their distance from me. They didn't wear masks. The lead mover kept walking toward me even as I backed up and told him to practice social distancing. He said he wasn't worried about it. I told him I was because I'm over 50 years old. Both movers appeared to be under the influence as evidenced by slow speech and movement. I had to even suggest how to put the mattresses in the pod so they would fit!

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
A followed up phone to introduce our Move Coordinator and an opportunity to discuss the details of the move and any special instructions on the date of service. We will also call the day before to confirm the order is still scheduled as planned.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Our trained and skilled crew will follow up with an introduction call from the morning of the job to confirm all needed material and tools that are needed with and estimated arrival time. As well as 15 minutes before arriving the crew will call the customer so the customer is prepared for their arrival.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Please remove all items from the dresser drawers to avoid any values being misplaced or any fragile items being damaged. Have all boxes labeled and sealed (fragile, Kitchen, bob's room, etc.). Please have all pets confined to one area during the move. Please don't book a family outing or event on the same day as move day because unexpected situations occur beyond our control.

We have handled a variety type of moves from (loca, long distance, Office Moves, college moves, In-house moves, and evictions.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
The opportunity to meet and greet new people from all walks of life such as different religions, corporate america, famous, etc. The ability to learn from each of them and open my mind to new things in life.
