The 2 workers who came were within the hour time frame (barely) and they were not at all prepared for the job. They certainly did not work hard and were not at all respectful of my property and goods and no I would definitely not use them again. I know that hireahelper.com has no direct ties to this particular contractor but will sure make me look for other ways to find help than use hireahelper.com again. I had put some pretty specific things in my request when I requested to laborers to assist me in moving some things but this was a moving company and one of the helpers said all they did was move people. They immediately asked what had to be moved and instead of doing the labor to help me get it ready to move they just started throwing things off the shelves and desks so they could load them. All they wanted to do was get the big stuff loaded and moved so they could leave and I told them I had hired them for 6 hours not just to do a move and thats when they told me they were only a moving company and not laborers. I difinitely would not recomment them to anyone even for a move.

Ronnie and his assistant showed up right on time, they worked non-stop for 2 hours and did an excellent job of making sure that everything was done and done right. The only items that broke during the move were items I wrapped and transported. Everything they worked on was done with professionalism and experience. Dennis called to verify the work and the time to arrive. Then he followed up with an "after-move" call to be sure all was done right. Further, he immidiately responded to my calls and e-mails throughout the move. I appreciated every aspect of how they handled this move. I would defintely recommend them.

Dennis and his helper were absolutely marvelous. Dennis called to confirm right after I made the aptmt via the internet and as well called 2 days before our scheduled move to reconfirm. They arrived about 30 minutes early, were extremely diligent and got the job done (1 bdrm aprtmt. 3rd flr. to a lst flr. aptmt.) in the 2 hrs. scheduled.
I can't say enough good things.

The helpers were on time and started working right away. I liked the fact that they had their own moving equipment which made the process easy. I also liked the fact that they took care with the furniture and my flat screen televisions when packing them in the truck, drove the truck (they didn't have to do) and covered the stairs hand rail to prevent scratching. Dennis was extremely nice and courteous but I have antiques and found the way they moved my stuff was not professional. They dragged and slid tables and couches and picked tables up by the top, not under the main braces. If you have expensive pieces, you may want to consider another helper. Otherwise I would recommend them.

The service provided was outstanding. At the last minute, we requested a day early change for the off-load move since we arrived at our location early (on a Sunday). Within an hour, the manager accommodated our request and himself and another worker arrived to do the off-load. They did the work expertly, in less time than expected, and were exceptionally professional and courteous. I would highly recommend this company and would surely use them again.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We always call our customers the day prior to moving to confirm the date and time. On the day of the move, our crew will show up with smiles on their faces and ready to work!
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
You can always call us with any questions prior to moving day. First and foremost, customers should RELAX. Items should be wrapped and packed in labeled boxes. Furniture pads should be purchased or rented - they are essential to protecting your belongings. If you are disassembling furniture before we arrive, put all hardware (screws, nuts, bolts) in a labeled baggie and tape it to the furniture or put it somewhere safe.
What types of moves have you handled?
You name it, we have done it! Labor services (loading, unloading, re-arranging furniture), Full Service Moves (white glove services with a truck), local moves, corporate moves, junk removal, deliveries.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
We have met some pretty awesome customers. Moving can be very stressful, so it's always nice to hear that we have alleviated the stress that is associated with moving.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our training methods are extremely hands on - our patient yet thorough crew leaders are experienced in teaching the industry's latest moving techniques to our newer staff members.
