PROBLEM #1
I trusted Corey Ford and his coworker Frank from Helping Hands who were technically hired by Hire-A-Helper
I trusted Hire-A- Helper to do back ground checks before sending them into their clients home (mine)
They loaded the POD quickly and while one distracted everyone at the house by needed advise on packing something out at the truck the other one went back into the house into a part of the house they were told NOT to go and STOLE my engagement ring and my husbands wedding band and a GUN.....
I regrettably gave the thieves a 100.00 tip!
We are 100% positive with God as our witness ....I called to offer to buy them back and they said we didn't have any cameras and couldn't prove it.

When the police detective questioned Hire-A-Helper, their only response was that they had never had a problem with them before.
AND no one from Hire-A-Helper EVER bothered to call me about it

Helping hands saved the day!!!! PODS dropped the ball by changing the terms of our drop off AND cancelling my order the day they were to drop off and I mean the driver was on the way with it !!!
I called Helping hands who was coming to load our pod in a panic!!
Dennis calmly told me he could help me by also sending a truck with the helpers.
We had to load the truck with all our household stuff AND THEN go to the pods warehouse to load the pod. Their is no way my husband and I could have done it.
The 3 men who came quickly and efficiently loaded the truck and then went to the pod warehouse and loaded the pod quickly and efficiently. We were worried if everything would fit but the men fit everything in like a giant puzzle!
Dennis also kept in touch by phone calls and text. Bravo is all I can say.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
We typically call our customers within an hour of receiving notification of booking.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We always call our customers the day prior to moving to confirm the date and time. On the day of the move, our crew will show up with smiles on their faces and ready to work!
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
You can always call us with any questions prior to moving day. First and foremost, customers should RELAX. Items should be wrapped and packed in labeled boxes. Furniture pads should be purchased or rented - they are essential to protecting your belongings. If you are disassembling furniture before we arrive, put all hardware (screws, nuts, bolts) in a labeled baggie and tape it to the furniture or put it somewhere safe.
What types of moves have you handled?
You name it, we have done it! Labor services (loading, unloading, re-arranging furniture), Full Service Moves (white glove services with a truck), local moves, corporate moves, junk removal, deliveries.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
We have met some pretty awesome customers. Moving can be very stressful, so it's always nice to hear that we have alleviated the stress that is associated with moving.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our training methods are extremely hands on - our patient yet thorough crew leaders are experienced in teaching the industry's latest moving techniques to our newer staff members.
