Movers did a great job. They packed the Pod very efficiently and managed to get everything inside when I didn't think it was going to be possible. Would definitely recommend.

They did an excellent job packing my 1 bedroom apartment into an 8’ x 8’ pod. They managed to get everything in the pod (great use of space management!) and took care when moving items. Would highly recommend.

The crew arrived in time prepared with their tools ready the disassemble furniture. Unknowingly, the furniture was disassembled, shrunk wrapped and ready to load.
The crew insured they properly handled items ensuring no wall marking or torn shrink wrap. The crew, excellent!

Milton is a personable, hard working, overall good guy. I gave him little instruction on they way I wished the truck to be loaded and he took it from there and did a terrific job. He has a great "can do" attitude and we wish him well in developing his own moving company.

I wasn't pleased with the organization(Hire A Helper) he worked for however. Not knowing exactly how long it would take I signed up for 2 hours (the minimum) and a third for a stipulated sum. I assumed that was if it was needed. It took them 2 hours on the dot but the company would not refund that additional hour. Bush league! I hope that Milton got some of that money.

Richard, thank you for taking the time to share your experience we really appreciate your business. Unfortunately, I think you have the companies mixed up. We do not have a Milton here at Moving with Pride so I am assuming you are speaking about the team that loaded your (pod). Moving with Pride are the ones that unloaded your items into a storage unit, you booked us for a 2 hour minimum not 3 and the team assigned to your project was Ziggy and Wesley (Wes). FYI, Milton does not work for Hireahelper so no need to be disappointed with Hireahelper. He more than likely works for a (company) that is on the Hireahelper platform. If you book a crew for a 3 hour minimum and it takes 2 hours the crew still gets paid the 3 hours so he more than likely got some of the money. :-)

While the movers were friendly, they did a poor job in protect our walls from scratches and dents. We had to remind them to use our protective covers and furniture blankets. We also had to direct them in rearranging our belongings in our shipping pod because the way they originally placed our furniture was not an efficient use of the space. I likely will not use them again.

Wow, this is unreal. There were absolutely no scratches or dents done to your wall whatsoever, absolute fact. So I am confused as to why your post states" They almost scratched and dented our walls". We were the ones who were making the suggestions to wrap the items that you did not have covers for by utilizing cardboard. We also were the ones who loaded all 7 items in the 7'ft pod from corner to corner front to back with no space left "which we thought" we try our best and are very good at what we do but we are not perfect. OK, the husband suggested that we flip the leather couch on it's back and stack stuff on top of the front of couch, this did give extra room for us to maneuver the other last chair in, we would never put a leather couch in that position for long distance travel but it's his couch so team work made the dream work. It was a team effort and yes the husband played a part and he does get credit but to bash the entire service we provided is unreal. We were on time, completed the project in the time reserved, no damages occurred and we were friendly and professional. We really do appreciate your business and sorry you didn't appreciate our services.

You can expect for us to arrive within the scheduled time frame prepared to conquer whatever the project requires.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

Customers should have items that are able to be boxed, in boxes and labeled accordingly. If loading is required they should have blankets and some sort of tie-downs.

What types of moves have you handled?

We have handled all moves. Local, long distance, office, industrial, govt. contracts, you name it we've done it.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?

The favorite part is completing difficult task in a minimum amount of time thru methods of expertise and experience that creates a WOW factor for our customers

What training do you provide your crew members?

We provide safety training thru videos and quizzes plus on the job basics and essentials including but not limited to customer interactions, (plt) proper lifting techniques, how to set a desk properly, getting a sofa thru a door and much more.

We charge an extra 20% for same day requests.

Next Day Moves

We accept next day requests at our normal rates.

Refunding Unused Time

We do not refund for any unused time.

Extra Hours

We can always stay at least 1 hour over the prebooked time.
