1. Acceptance of Terms

HireAHelper.com provides information about Customers and Helpers across the country, and holds them subject to the following Terms of Use. By registering with HireAHelper, users are agreeing to accept and abide by these Terms. Terms are always subject to change, however, will always contain the following basic principles. If a user disagrees with the following terms, we ask that they no longer use HireAHelper's services.

2. Modifications To This Agreement

HireAHelper reserves the right to update, change, and modify these terms at any time. Modified terms will be made affective as soon as they are posted. Users are welcome to check this document regularly.

3. Content

HireAHelper does not require Service Providers (or helpers) to pass background checks, credit checks, or be held to any qualifications in order to list their service in the general marketplace. However there are specific “opt in” programs within HireAHelper which require all participating workers to pass background checks and adhere to certain qualifications. More detailed information about these programs is in Section 15. At all times we reserve the right to refuse service to those we feel are acting out of malice, dishonesty, false pretenses, or against our policy in our Terms of Use. The content published on HireAHelper by its users is strictly the responsibility of its creator. HireAHelper does not screen or support any information published by its users. However, we do reserve the right to delete any information, links, or content that we feel violates our Terms of Use, or takes advantage of our viewers and registered users. HireAHelper is also not responsible for the content of third party services listed, since third party websites and services do not operate under our Terms of Use. You are hereby agreeing that HireAHelper is not responsible for any loss or damage you may receive from any information posted or services promised by registered users of HireAHelper other than HireAHelper Support. You are also agreeing that HireAHelper is not responsible for any damage or loss incurred through third party websites or services. You are agreeing that HireAHelper is not responsible or liable for not only any information published on HireAHelper by its users, but also any further content/communication created between you and a registered user. By agreeing to these terms, you are also granting HireAHelper permission to publish your address, in order to properly advertise your services among your community, and the communities you will be servicing. The publication of your address will not be solicited to anyone other than potential HireAHelper customer, and used strictly for the purpose of attracting more customers in your area.

4. Third Party Content, Sites, and Services

At this time, HireAHelper does not employ the use of pop up ads, running banners, or cross marketing. Therefore any links to third party services found on HireAHelper.com do not operate under the same Terms of Use, and are not the responsibility of HireAHelper. HireAHelper is not liable or responsible for any information or content viewed on third party sites. Any services you sign up for, pay for, receive, or agreements made through a third party service are strictly between you and that service. You agree that any misinformation, damage, or loss incurred through such a deal is not the responsibility of HireAHelper to resolve. Any issues between you and other users onHireAHelper.com is also not the responsibility of HireAHelper, and we are in no way obligated to become involved in solving your issue unless a party involved in the dispute is in violation of the Terms of Use.

5. Notification of Claims or Infringement

If at any time while browsing or using HireAHelper.com services you believe that your information is being misused, improperly displayed, or misrepresented creating copyright infringement, or in blatant violation with your personal rights, please contact HireAHelper immediately at:

In order to properly diagnose and resolve the issue, please provide us with the necessary information:

1. The material in question, and enough information for us to locate it. Such as a URL, or description of how and where it was viewed by you.
2. A statement by you providing substantial reasoning, belief, or evidence that the material is in violation of its creator, rightful owner, or the law.
3. A statement by you certifying under penalty of perjury that the above information you provided is accurate, and that you are either the rightful owner or acting out of the best interest of the rightful owner, of the material in question.
4. Your name, address, telephone number, and signature. If after proper investigation the material or person in question is found to be guilty, HireAHelper will remove the material and reserves the right to take further action against its creator, such as removing the creator from our website, by the steps necessary in the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

6. Privacy and Information Disclosure

HireAHelper provides its viewers and users with a Privacy Policy. Which can be viewed here: /privacy/ By using the services of HireAHelper, you are agreeing with the Privacy Policy which states that HireAHelper stores information such as your IP address, email address, timestamps, or any other information entered by its viewers and users. We reserve the right to log all information into our databased to be used strictly to improve our website for our viewers and customers, and also the right to disclose any information if: requested or forced by law, to provide information necessary for any claims a user may take against another user, to enforce our Terms of Use, or to protect the rights of HireAHelper or registered users' personal rights.

7. Conduct

You agree not to publish, email other users, or in any other way make available for public viewing, Content that is:

• Unlawful
• Malicious
• Disruptive
• Offensive
• Pornographic
• Indecent
• Inappropriate
• Degrading
• Discriminatory against: age, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion, ethnicity or race
• Violates federal, state, and local law
• Misrepresenting
• Deceitful
• or in any other way threatening to HireAHelper support, viewers, and users ofHireAHelper.com

You also agree not to use our database for: improper solicitation or to advertisements for any illegal services, your own or third party, implanting or creating computer viruses or controlled interruption to our server or information provided to and by HireAHelper.

Furthermore, you agree not to commit forgery, harass HireAHelper staff, viewers, or registered users, or attempt to acquire information only provided to HireAHelper administration by any means.

8. No Spam Policy

You agree not to use any personal information such a user’s name, phone number, and email address, which can all be acquired through business deals made on HireAHelper, for spamming purposes. You also agree not to distribute such information without proper consent from the provider.

9. Limitations

You agree that HireAHelper can at any time enforce limitations of any rightful kind upon its users. At this time, HireAHelper does not have any limitations other than the acknowledgement and agreement of our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

10. Access to the Service

HireAHelper welcomes all viewers to sign up for our services, and at this time, there are no exceptions or qualifications as to who can sign up on HireAHelper.com. HireAHelper provides you limited access to our database in order to promote and advertise your services, or find local help for services you need performed. At no time does HireAHelper offer administrative access to its commercial viewers and customers. HireAHelper does not allow its users to provide outside links and or phone numbers with the purpose of further advertising oneself commercially or circumventing the HireAHelper service via available description fields. You are allowed to link HireAHelper.com in your own websites or services, as long as you are not providing hurtful or malicious information about HireAHelper employees, or services.

11. Termination of Service

You agree and understand that if at any time you are found to be abusing, or indirect violation of the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, or the law, HireAHelper is able to remove you from the site, by deleting your account, blocking your IP address, and any other means necessary to prevent you from performing the same acts.

12. Propriety Rights

All content, material, and images uploaded to HireAHelper.com by HireAHelper employees is copyrighted. You agree not to misuse any of this content for your own purposes other than to advertise the services of HireAHelper. Although HireAHelper does not authenticate any content published by its users, you agree not to misuse any content that is provided by HireAHelper users, either. You also agree not to use any information provided on HireAHelper.com for any use other than acquiring a Helper or Customer on HireAHelper.com

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

You agree that HireAHelper is not responsible for any complaints you may have with other users. HireAHelper is not responsible for providing you with business, or quality work. HireAHelper.com is strictly a database of Helpers and Customers in your area. We are here to provide you with information about registered users that provide service in your area. HireAHelper is not liable for any complaints you may have about a Helper's work ethic or quality of work. Registered users of HireAHelper are not insured, or bonded through HireAHelper. Any job you receive or offer to a HireAHelper user is a contract between you and that user. HireAHelper is just a means to find that user. We are not a staffing agency, representative, provider, or employer to any users. By providing services on HireAHelper, you are agreeing to represent yourself properly, and perform the jobs you are hired for correctly. By hiring Helpers throughHireAHelper.com you are agreeing that any issues you have with the quality or work performed, or the Helper personally, are to be resolved by you and the Helper. HireAHelper is not legally responsible for settling any disputes you may have with another user. HireAHelper is also not obligated to become involved in such disputes. By using our services, you are agreeing that any contracts made by you by means of HireAHelper, are solely the responsibility of yourself and the other user involved.

14. Indemnity

You agree that you cannot hold HireAHelper, or HireAHelper employees, responsible for any loss or damages you may incur while using services advertised on HireAHelper.com, or any third party services advertised by registered users.

15. CRIMINAL RECORDS & BACKGROUND CHECKS

By becoming a service provider or “helper” on the HireAHelper marketplace you agree that you have not been accused or found guilty of any federal, state, or foreign criminal activity including but not limited to: any felony, theft, assault, battery, stalking, any type of sexual misconduct, rape, pedophilia, etc. All criminal convictions, of any caliber, must be brought to the attention of the HireAHelper marketplace and receive written approval prior having your company/person listed as a service provider. False representation regarding these issues may result in immediate removal from the marketplace and criminal charges. HireAHelper maintains the right to run background checks on any/all of service providers and any employees of companies listed as service providers.

15.1 If you are hired for a job that requires background checked employees, only employees who have submitted proof of passing a background check may be sent on those jobs. 15.1.1 Any falsification of background check proof will be grounds for removal from HireAHelper marketplace.

15.2 HireAHelper.com reserves the right to randomly audit employees on any jobs requiring background checked employees. 15.2.1 HireAHelper reserves the right to suspend or remove Helpers from the marketplace for sending non-background checked employees (workers) to a job requiring background checked employees.

15.3 If anything occurs that could jeopardize a worker’s background status, HireAHelper must be notified immediately. That worker must either pass a new background check or be removed from the background check program. 15.3.1 HireAHelper also reserves the right to randomly have workers resubmit new background checks at anytime in order to stay in the program 15.3.2 Workers must pass a new background check at least every 3 years to stay in the program.

16. License and Insurance

All service providers are required to have all state and federal licenses and/or insurance as required by the city/state/town/country of your residence and that which you intend to complete work in. Helpers must be able to produce copies of any license and insurance information that is listed on the site. Failure to be able to provide proof or offering services that the service provider doesn't carry proper license and/or insurance for is grounds for removal from the HireAHelper marketplace.

17. General Information

These Terms of Use create an agreement by You and HireAHelper.com. By using our site, you are agreeing to abide by all terms listed.

18. Violation of Terms and Liquidated Damages

Violation of these Terms warrants legal action for up to ten times the amount of damage.
