They showed up a half hour past the time they were supposed to and did not call as was promised but in the movers defense they had the wrong phone number (Not sure why because the moving company told my daughter in her confirmation phone call they had the correct number). There were several chips that came out of new furniture and a scratch on a new dresser because the blankets provided were not properly protecting them. But they also were very flexible in moving the furniture farther than they were originally told they would have to. We were told that the move was within the building and it turned out to be 1/2 block away in another building. They did work hard ... the furniture was heavy and they moved everything within the allotted time (2 hours). They were also very pleasant.

This was an easy process all around. A supervisor (Mike) was on the scene to get the process started; the two-person crew (Tony and Darryl) arrived promptly. He came with supplies I requested. They were courteous, careful, and efficient and finished within the two-hour period. I would do this, again; I am most pleased with the mover and this Hire.a.Helper service.

We hired Hackely Movers to assist us in taking the large items of my daughter's apartment (sofa, tv, tables, entertainment center) down the four flights of stairs of her apartment building. Our plan was to move these items into her new townhouse ourselves, but since Hackley Movers confirmed our scheduled time, arrived exactly when they said they would and worked really hard, we were able to have their help on the other end as well. They finished the whole job with one minute to spare.
We would definitely hire Hackley Movers again.

Unprofessional owner. Movers were suppose to be here between 3-4pm, owner txt me 3:30 to tell me his original crew wasn't available so he would need to send another. I commented about the lack of customer service and Mike Hackley told me to find another movers. So not a problem, I'm on a strict time table and don't have time for unprofessional companies. He canceled the order at 3:45 on day of service so it wouldn't show as a no-show. Highly recommend you find another company.

These guys were great. Well organized and amazingly fast. I was only moving a 1BR apt. and only a short distance down the road. They arrived at 8:30 and were so quick I had the rental truck returned and was done by 10:15. I will definitely use them for any future moves I have.

This was my first time using the HireaHelper website, where I hired Michael Hackley and his team to load two pods with terrific results. Michael was responsive to my needs, adjusting the time of arrival to accommodate me, and is very customer-centric. I appreciated how his team figured out how to use every square inch of my pods, handling with extreme care my heaviest furniture and many boxes, and did so with great efficiency. I absolutely recommend them.
