I hired this team for packing services only. The helpers were over an hour late (arrived at 7:16 a.m. instead of 6 a.m.) but once they were here, they moved very quickly and didn't complain directly to me about anything and helpfully moved all the boxes into my living room for transport. There were a few comments made by one of the workers about not liking the job but another of the workers replied with, "Hey, a job is a job." I thought that was a very professional, not to mention nice, response. I know packing is not the most fun thing in the world, that's why I chose to pay someone else to do it.
If someone is looking for professional packers, people who organize and neatly pack each box carefully, I couldn't recommend this team but they were exactly what I needed, extremely quick and while they didn't treat everything as precious, I don't expect anything to be damaged either. As a college student who also works more than 40 hours a week, speed and value were my main needs and they were by far the cheapest packers that I could find (on extremely short notice I might add, I made the appointment on a Wednesday and they came on Friday) and they definitely excel in the speed department.
Despite their tardiness and the odd remark or two, I'm satisfied with the help and would not be reluctant to hire them again, but perhaps for a little later in the day so that we could all sleep in.
EDIT: Once I began unpacking my things, unfortunately my satisfaction went WAY down. Several of my books were so haphazardly thrown into a box that the dust jackets ripped and the covers were torn (on paperbacks). In addition to this EXTREMELY upsetting fact, it is clear that there was absolutely no thought given to what was packed. There were several instances of finding boxes less than halfway full and smaller, empty boxes inside bigger boxes. Why?? Food was packed in away that made NO sense (oil bottles upside down, leaking through the box, heavy things on top of crushable things, etc.) I knew that they had worked quickly but if I'd have wanted three strangers to come in my home and throw stuff into boxes with no thought whatsoever, I would have just hired some of my 10-year-old nieces friends to do it. I will definitely not use this company again.

Hired David and Issiah from Convenient Movers. They were there in a timely manner even with only a couple hours of notice. They did a good job helping us unload a rental truck. I will call them again if I should need help moving anything!

On 6/28/10 Hire a Helper contracting service accepted payment from our family and hired 2 movers from Convenient Movers of Oklahoma City to help us move on 7/3/10. We gave Hire a Helper details about our home and furniture and informed them that we already had 4 men helping with the move and our own truck and required 2 more to help with heavier items (including a piano). We were informed that we had sufficient man power with our 4 men plus the hired 2 men would have the movers for a minimum of 2 hours but could pay, if necessary, for 2 more additional hours.
On the morning of 7/3/10 three men from convenient movers arrived and stated that 2 men could not do the job in 2 hours. My husband explained that we had 4 men also helping and just needed help with the heavy pieces of furniture. The movers insisted that we pay cash up front for the third man to help. My husband explained that we didn't have cash on hand but could go by an atm and get some. The movers left. After about 20 minutes we called to see if they were coming back and they said that they were on their way to another job and would charge us $100 to return and do the job for us and only if we hired the third man. When we asked how it was that they had another job when we were supposed to have had them for up to 4 hours, they told us to find other movers and hung up.
Hire a Helper called later that afternoon and told us that the movers were not supposed to ask for any money without going through the contractor (Hire a Helper)and apologized and refunded our money.
On 7/8/10 I contacted the manager of Convenient movers to complain about the incident. I was told that they left because we wouldn't hire the third man and they didn't want to do the job with just 2 men because they had scheduled 4 moves that day so they left. I was also told that it was their policy that they could show up for a job and decide not to do it at the last minute if they felt like it, that they had plenty of customers and didn't need us as customers or hire a helper to contract for them and that they were not going to put up with my husband's " bull****" for not paying the extra man. The manager explained that the whole situation was our fault because we used Hire a Helper to contract movers. We ended up left with all of our boxes out in the driveway and had to call movers until we could find someone to come out at the last minute.
