They were on time within reason. Hard workers. Of all the Movers I have ever used they did the least regarding putting things in the proper place in the new house. No drawers put back into dressers and forgot their tools at the 1st house so they could not reinstall and/or put back together things they had taken down or taken apart.

The two gentlemen arrived timely. They worked constantly without a break. They were very careful and ensure our items and furniture wouldn't be damaged. We will use these two gentlemen again in the future.

First they showed up over 3 hours late, they did call but that does not help me keep to my schedule. We were told they would bring an appliance Dollie which they did not and a part of my refrigerator got broken. When they got there they did start of working very hard but as time went by they worked slower and slower by the time it came to unloading my husband and his brother had to pitch in and help because they were moving so slow it took them over 2 hrs to unload the truck and all they were doing is putting the stuff in the rooms they did not put anything back together so that time was ridiculous. The mover told my husband that they had put all the screws back in the piece of furniture they were taken out of, well when my husband went to put the beds together all but one of the beds had not hardware at all so on four beds we had to by all new hardware. I will never use these people again, it cost me over $400 for their help which was a complete waste of money and had to spend out over another $70 for replacing hardware.

I needed assistance with moving furniture items in my home. Not only would I recommend Lacks Movers, I would use them for any future needs. The young men were very helpful, hard working, and on time! This was a very good experience for me.

Lacks Movers we wonderful to work with. We were let down last minute by Best Man Helpers and they stepped in with an hours notice. Everyone was friendly and it felt more like friends were helping my wife and I than a company. We would use them again in a heartbeat.

I would NOT recommend these movers. We hired them to load our moving truck and they did a horrible job. Literally it looked like someone just threw things into the moving van. Several pieces of furniture were damaged and a number of boxes were placed upside-down. What makes things worse is because they did not pack the U-Haul efficiently, we had to rent a second truck (this cost us an additional $900). Also, they completely disregarded the boxes we labeled fragile. We found many of them placed at the very bottom of the moving truck. Very disappointing!
