They did a very poor job of loading of the trailer. I asked them to make sure that no wood was touching other wood, other items, or touching the trailer. I gave them many blankets and large pillows to protect the furniture, but instead of wraping the exposed items, the blankets and pillows were just piled in the trailer. This caused large, deep dents to the top of an oak dining table. The table will have to be sanded down and refinished. The upholstery of a chair was damaged due to the poor loading. A hole was punched thru the upholstery.
They closed the trailer door, and I asked them if everything was covered and protected as I had asked them to do, and they said yes. I was busy inside the apartment, and I did not have time to watch the loading process. However, I see now that I should have made time to supervise the loading, but they were supposed to be the professionals. I shouldn't have had to supervise them. I gave them a tip before I opened up the trailer to see what a poor job they did.
