One was late about ten mins . Then manager came by started time 12:10 and they seemed a little slow but then manager came helped they got stuff packed . But I know my headboard was cracked and not sure on things in boxes yet . Paid too much 288.00 was way too much will never go thru this site again . They sit down went to there car not even done got the refrigerator to load had to tell them but finished at 1:30 . They took about 10 min break and we have them sodas to drink . Hope things in my boxes aren't broken . Shouldn't be so high if there's things gets broken . Don't even work the full 2 hrs . They were polite .

Hi Tammy. I'm sorry to hear that you were not happy with the service but I thank you for your feedback. HireAHelper called us to let us know you had requested 2 hours for the price of $288 which you paid them. The movers completed loading in less than that time. Slow typically means we took longer to complete the job than anticipated which was not the case here. The manager that showed up was not part of the 2 man crew. A manager is intended to be mobile and will work from his car taking calls and updating jobs, while inspecting ongoing jobs, but will not necessarily contribute to the physical labor unless he opts to assist. If he did in this case that is likely why the job was completed quicker. In addition, when booking via HireAHelper they asked if you needed any materials to protect your items, blankets, ropes etc and you declined. Many of your items were therefore loaded without the sufficient protection necessary when moving that we would recommend.

They gave me the window of 8:00am-9:00am and didn’t show up until almost 10:00am. I had no communication from them. The only reason I knew they were still coming was because I called them. The movers themselves were the slowest I’ve ever had and did not behave professionally. I would not use this company again.

Good morning Lisa. We gave you an arrival window of 8-11 am. I have a copy of the job order that was emailed to you and it states the arrival window clearly on that paperwork and I spoke with you personally on the phone. Your job was also booked thru HireAHelper for 2 hours. We did not get to see your job until we arrived. Immediately our crew leader called us to let us know if was not a 2 hour job and we discussed this with you before the job began so that you would not be surprised by a higher bill at the end. You agreed with the assessment of the additional move time and paid us for the additional time. The final move time was what we estimated when we arrived. We did not have to work more than 2 hours but your job would not have been completed in 2 hours. In summary we did arrive on time, and we did complete the 2 hours and the additional time you agreed to at the beginning of the move.

Our two move-in helpers are wonderful men. They arrived before schedule, had all the equipment available to unload the moving truck and worked diligently until the job was finished. They had to work around the apartment cleaning crew that was inside the apartment which slightly delayed the move in process. They accomplished their job on schedule.

They came in almost about 4 hours late. I hired 3 people for 4 hours. Then they took long breaks, were not willing to listen to any requests and very rude. Very disappointing service. We do not recommend them.

Thank you for the feedback. I checked and we arrived at 3:41 pm and we were supposed to be there by 2:00 pm. So we were 1 hour and 41 minutes late from another move, which is unacceptable and I do apologize for that. I think that your statement that we were 4 hours late is a little off. I also think its important to note that I received two calls from you, one to say the movers were going too fast and one later to say the movers were going too slow. We were also being asked to do things which are not usual for movers, such as disassemble many items which do not require it (the crew leader called to discuss this with me and I agree that he was following protocols and your requests were not in line with normal move practices). The movers were initially concerned that your requests would put the move over time so they were trying to work quickly, and then worked slower because I asked them to after speaking with you. The crew leader on your move has been providing moving services for several years and is very knowledgeable. I have spoken to him and we regret that things were not to your satisfaction but I do feel the movers were following their training. In the end the move was completed as you requested, within the 4 hours you had requested, without any damages. And you will be receiving a $126 refund for our tardiness. Again, my sincerest apologies for that.

Highly recommend!! Two males called 45 minutes before they arrived. Showed up on time and did a very efficient job. I didn’t have any packing materials but they patiently waited while I got some loading my trailer in a timely fashion. They were very nice and polite. I would definitely use them again!! Great work!!

They did arrive late but did call to let me know. I believe that the guys still put their start time at 9:00 am even thought they did not arrive until 9:25 am. The guy said at 11:00 am that the 2 hours I contracted them for was up. We were not complete so he called his boss to see if they could stay an additional hour if needed. We finished in 30 minutes so I had to write them a check for the additional time. So all in all I really am not happy with this service and feel I was cheated out of time and paid additional dollars. Thanks

It states that on our profile page here on HireAHelper that all morning jobs have an 8-10 arrival window and we advise customers of this time when we call to confirm. What types of moves have you handled?

We regularly complete 80-100 moves a month. We are an independent moving company based in Tulsa Oklahoma. We do not belong to HireAHelper, we are simply a vendor to their clients.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?

My favorite part about being a mover is meeting new people and helping them start a new chapter in their lives. I enjoy seeing different places and learning about different cultures. I also like the physical challenge of moving heavy and bulky items. It keeps me fit and healthy. Being a mover is not an easy job, but it is rewarding and fun.

What training do you provide your crew members?

Our movers are experts in handling your furniture with care and packing your trucks efficiently. They also receive training on how to communicate with you, the customer, in a friendly and professional way. We want you to have the best experience possible with us.
