The movers showed up too early (they had another job scheduled after mine), even though I had told them to come an hour later because the truck wouldn't be at my home yet.
They were nice guys and respectful of our stuff. BUT, they rushed me to review them online the moment they closed the truck, even called and stopped back by my door to remind me to review them ASAP, and I figured out why. When I opened the back, my stuff looked pretty okay at a glance, but it was more full than I had expected, and I needed to put a couple more things in. When I pulled out some furniture to make room, I could see that they had left the front half of the moving truck (behind the driver's/passenger's seats) empty and disorganized... chaos really. If I had driven the truck off without discovering this, my stuff would have been thrown around and ended up broken. I had to take every
were replacing my crew member's and I had no knowledge of their Experience in this field. and I am sorry for that but it look's like to me that there
were no damages done and I am really glad of that.

The movers arrived on time and were very polite. They were super helpful and moved everything into the apartment in a timely manner. I would recommend using this service.

The owner, James Barber, is very diligent and caring but he did not actually do the move; he had two men working for him that showed up for the move. They were on time and respectful, however, they were not experienced movers. They were not in sync with each other which meant that they did not move things smoothly nor pack the truck so that nothing would break; i.e, they layed glass lamps side by side so they clanked against each other during the trip. At one point, my male cousin had to help with putting an end table on a furniture dolly. There was also no rhyme or reason as to how things were put into the truck. A few things at the end that I asked to be left until the end & placed in the forefront so they could be unloaded first were, instead, placed in the back and i had to move things and crawl over other things to retrieve them. There are many other examples but not enough room here. They did complete the job in just under 2 hours but it really should have been done in one hour....I unloaded the truck by myself and it took me 40 minutes. I hope Mr. Barber continues with his company but that he can find people who are more knowledgeable about being a mover and working smarter, not harder....Barber Moving deserves another try, if only because of the owner.

JUST HAVE EVERYTHING THAT YOU WANT TO GO AND JUST LET MY CREW DO THE REST AND THEY WILL HANDLE WHAT ALL YOU NEED DONE TO MAKE YOUR MOVE A SMOOTH ONE .
What types of moves have you handled?
BEING THAT WE ARE NEW WE HAD SOME LOCAL JOBS AND WE JUST DID A OFFICE JOB. AND WE ARE LOOKING TO DO MORE OF THE SAME WHEN EVER WE GET CALLED ON . SO IF YOU NEED YOUR OFFICE MOVED OR JUST NEED TO MOVE BARBER TRUCKING IS A CUT ABOVE THE REST.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
WELL ME MY SELF I JUST LOVE THE FACT THAT I HAD JUST DID ANOTHER SATISFYING JOB FOR MY CUSTOMER AND THAT'S IS HOW I NOW BE CAME BEING MY OWN BOSS CAUSE I JUST LOVE THE WORK. AND I LIKE THE FACT THAT WHEN IT COMES TO MOVING BARBER TRUCKING WAS THERE TO LEND A HAND.
What training do you provide your crew members?
WELL I TRY AND GIVE THEM THE UNDERSTANDING AND KNOWLEGE OF THE MOVING FEILD AND HOW TO DO THE JOB AND DO IT RIGHT AND GET IT DONE .AND HAVE THEM WATCH AN VIDEO ON MOVING AND HOW IT'S DONE AND DONE RIGHT.
