Hi my name is Todd and I own Modern Day Movers. I have 30+ years of moving ,loading and assembly experience residential and commercial moves. I myself will be on and facilitate every move we book. Covid19 compliant. 1-6 man background checked crews available. Same day and last minute booking available. Every employee has been professionally trained. This company takes pride in the services we provide and strive for customer satisfaction We have all the equipment and knowledge needed to complete any move residential or commercial. We do full pack and moves as well. We are Hireahelper approved to move any kind of piano, pool tables or hospital equipment.

They no showed the job and didn’t even have the decency to call to allow me to make other plans. That is the ultimate sign of unprofessionalism. I certainly don’t think anyone should use their services. If they can’t do the basic things how do you think they will treat your personal belongings.

Mover did not show up. When I was able to reach them, said he said that he was sick and overslept.
I understand that illness happens, but please use alarm clock! Very inconvenient.
Thankfully, Hire a Helper was able to find another mover for me to use that afternoon!

Todd and his men were phenomenal. They arrived when they said they would, they worked FAST and finished early. They handled our belongings with care and everything ended up in the rooms it was supposed to. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to everyone.

Todd did a fantastic job with our move. The two guys helping him weren’t as careful as Todd was of our brand new home. The guys slid the sofa across the hard wood floors causing damage and put a 6” hole in the ceiling going up the stairs that we paid to have fixed. The day of our move was the big snow storm in February and the guys had to leave before the job was completed. Todd came back with one guy the next day and completed the move for us. I was very pleased and impressed that they did that to help us. I would use Todd again and would recommend him because of his attention to detail and his ability to effectively supervise his workers when they are handling furniture incorrectly. They did borrow some of my tools and a tool was taken and never returned but they worked hard and got the job done.

Todd and his counterpart were used by me twice for two POD unloads. They were well prepared for the job bringing a piano dolly. Not only did they pause to ask me where items should be placed, they helped me understand how to file a claim for damage that could have been avoided by the loading end provider. While there was a time delay due to heavy construction traffic in the area, I was notified via text of the delay. Very courteous gentlemen. If I had a need for moving labor help, I would contact Todd.

Todd was the worst. Please do not hire. Never picked up his phone to discuss the nature of the move prior to moving day. Showed up without any tools even when it was indicated when I registered on hire a helper that I had a stairs and that heavy furniture will need disassembling and disassembling. Todd blamed us for the bad move, only if he returned phone calls and picked up his phone. Left our walls scratched up, furniture broken, did not install the washing machine and asked to be paid. I was literally in tears and wanted him out of my house. Please, do not hire! I don't know if his good reviews are staged. I fell for it.

Available at last minute - like the day before - for which I am appreciative. A hard working team, led by Todd, was knowledgeable on the care needed to move a heavy upright piano. Very courteous and responsive to move furniture where I needed, in tight areas. There were minor delays due to unforeseen circumstances, but not enough to ding the review. Thanks Todd!!

Honestly even if with a slow start from the snow, the two guys were so helpful and efficient! Couldn’t have imagined moving without them! Would definitely use the service again, just used to do the loading from apartment to rental truck and I was impressed!

A professional move in a timely manner. We have no office personal every employee is a qualified professional mover . We have the ability to move pool tables , hot tubs and grand pianos. We will do whatever we can to relieve the stress of your move . If you are not given professionalism and respect by every Modern Day Mover and it's not resolved immediately our portion of the move will be free.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Let us do the work for you. Packing services are available. To save time and damage prevention all boxes should be tape shut and tote lids secured.
