I made arrangements through hire a helper for O'Grady's to load a truck with my belongings and that they would take apart a bed, dining room table, and take legs off dressers to prevent damage. Shawn asked me to show him what needed to be done. He immediately said they would not take anything apart because of liability issues. I explained that I am 68, female and live alone and needed help. He started an argument with me. He told me hire a helper should not have told me they would take stuff apart. He was yelling at me and said he owns O'Grady. I told him if he owns the co. it is his responsibility to make sure everyone knows what they will and will not do. One of his employees tried to say it was no big deal and they could help me. Shawn hollered at the young man telling him to shut up he is an employee and to keep his mouth shut. They arrived on the job 2 hours late. His excuse was it was a 2 hour drive. My response was he should have left 2 hours earlier. They also damaged 3 items in the move.

I will never use O'Grady's Moving LLC again. They never showed up on the scheduled day, and finally arrived the next day after repeated phone calls to find out where they were. By the time they arrived late the next morning, my sister, son and I had already unloaded half of the moving truck. The two young men who were brought out by the owner's wife were skinny and not strong enough to move furniture without our assistance. It only took the two of them (with our help) 50 minutes to finish unloading the truck, and for this they are charging me $267.60 which is much more than was the agreed upon rate. This is outrageous, and I will be filing a complaint with Hire a Helper.

Sean was ACES! Excellent communications and timing updates, upbeat, and helpful. He and Ricardo busted their humps and knocked out pretty quickly what would have taken me a week to do, had I even been able to move some of what they moved. On time, took excellent care of our "stuff" and our home while moving furniture, boxes, etc. Would that I would have known about them years ago - would have saved some aches and pains for me and some helpful buddies, as well as hours and hours and hours of work that the pros can do in just a few hours. Make them your Go-To Guys for moving.
