These guys were extremely unprofessional! They started the clock from the time they got to my location but the first half hour they spent eating their lunch and telling me that they were only hired to move 4 items when they were hired to unload a truck for an entire one bedroom apartment on a second floor. They complained the entire time about how tired they were because they just came from another move and about the heat and humidity, the flight of stairs and their boss who happened to be their brother. When they were about 1.5 hours in to their time clock(one hour according to mine because my daughter shouldn’t have to pay for their lunch time), I was told to call their boss. Armando wanted to see if she was was going to pay for anytime over the two hours. I never said she wouldn’t pay it. I said we would discuss it when he got to my location since he said he was on his way there. I mentioned how it would take them forever if they continue to bring one item up at a time. I’m serious when I say the first load was literally a vacuum cleaner. A couple of minutes after I got off the phone with Armando, one of the workers said they were told to stop at two hours. They really got mad when I told them “let me unload the truck for you even though my daughter is paying you guys to do it” as I marched up the ramp and grabbed several items. I told them that I never said I wouldn’t pay for over two hours. My daughter paid them for 2.5 hours but I disagree with that. They pulled the ramp out of the truck at 1227 and were done by 228. My calculations she should have only paid for two hours and I shouldn’t have had to lift one hand while they were there.

The Coastal Bend team did a great job. We moved from NW Indiana to Corpus Christi Tx and our arrival was dependent on travel conditions. Coastal Ben movers were flexible with start time. They arrived early to the storage facility. Very respectful and professional. I will call them AGAIN to support my move into my new home in a few months. Thanks guys!!!
