The two helpers who showed up worked well together and moved my heavy furniture from the second floor and down a challenging stairwell without damage to the walls. Since they were working by the hour, I was worried they might not work quickly but was satisfied with their work pace. On this job they loaded two PODS and seemed to be efficient using the space. I will most likely use them again to unload the PODS into my new location.

They were 3 hours late in arriving for the job. One of the guys had to leave before the job was finished. They waited for another to arrive for almost and hour (which they tried to charge me for). I did not supervise the loading of the truck. As it turns out, they did not know what they were doing as all my furniture was damaged. When the truck arrived at the destination, I could not believe what I saw. Furniture piled on top of other furniture in a heaped mess. Nothing was covered, blankets provided were rolled up and shoved inside of furniture.
I documented all of the damaged, and the company sent an insurance adjuster out to assess the damage. I thought they might make it right, but it has been 3 months, and despite emails back and forth, I have not received any compensation for their negligence.

I had used HireAHelper previously and was completely satisfied. I was not disappointed this time either. Two man crew completed all the heavy lifting and staging of our effects as I had desired. Good job, well done. Would use them again, definitely.

Brian was very prompt in calling me to talk about the details of our job. He had great suggestions which helped the day we moved. Brian and Daniel were on time and had the equipment needed to do our job. Brian even let us use his rope to tie down the load since we didn't have any. They worked hard and were very pleasant to have around. Everything arrived at our destination just as it was packed, nothing had moved. I would definitely use Brian and Daniel again. It was a great experience.
