I reserved helpers one month ahead of time. The night before my move, I contacted the company because I had not heard from them. I was informed that they were having a "tough day" and were not sure whether anyone would show to assist me the next day. Needless to say, this was a stressful situation. Hireahelper was able to find me a replacement who promised to - and did show up - the next day. Don't book this company if you want a reliable company that will actually show up when you reserve a job.

To start off I scheduled my move for 11 AM and received confirmation as such. Three days prior to the move I get a text message asking if I can push it back to 1 PM as they did not want to put extra crews on for the day. I agreed to push it back but then I also cut their originally booked time because well I am the customer. AND I was told extra crews would be on schedule (they weren't). The day of my move no one showed up at 1 PM when I rented a truck for 12 - 6 PM. They did not show up until 3:45 PM and it was not good from there. They argued with each other and did not go real quickly, items were broken and beaten up as well. I paid for extra time on the truck even though they caused the truck to sit for three hours paid on it with no moving taking place. I would not use them again and would not recommend them to my worst enemy.

They were on time, yet not prepared with the extras I ordered as they took the bus. The guys were moving really slow and I had to tell them numerous of times to pick up the pace as I had a time slot to get to my location and they were only their for two hours and didn't even know about it. They looked like any regular guys off the street, no uniform or car with the business name, could of been anyone coming on not cool. Overall I made sure they worked hard as I did pay.

The movers that arrived were really young. A gentleman who is 18, and a lady who is 16. Both of them worked really hard to help us move. However, they were just that- help. We had my husband and many other friends helping us. If we just relied on the two of them, I'm not sure if they would have been really cut out for the job. Having said that, they were both flexible with the time schedule, enthusiastic and eager to help in any way they could. i would recommend the company to movers. I am guessing they match the movers with the the type of job you request.
