We hired a team of two to remove all of the contents of my daughter's upstairs 900 sq ft apartment and load everything in a trailer we provided. They arrived right on time and had their equipment with them. It was a hot day to be moving.
One of the guys really kicked butt; but he really couldn't make up for the other mover who was just not in good physical shape and had a really hard time within the first 30 minutes of the move.
The move went over our anticipated 2 hours, which may have been unrealistic, admittedly. It took 3.5 hours; and we started moving things ourselves because we were concerned we'd miss our unload schedule in another city. The pace of this team was slow, especially given that our unload with another company was completed in less than two hours, going up three flights of stairs.
Given the heat of the day, I know this was a tough move for the laborers. I would not rehire.

I would definitely recommend them! However I'd do my Best to go through them directly! They deserve full pay and no money being taken from them by a 3rd party! Excellent service!

This was the first time I had used this kind of service. It was very easy to schedule, the movers were on time (we were actually late!), very hard workers, unloaded everything very quickly, and made sure we were didn't need anything else before they left.

I've used Austin Helping Hands for multiple moves and they are always ultra professional and take really good care of my family's things.
I rented a Uhaul and Art and his team really take a lot of care and consideration into loading (and unloading) the truck so that things are well-packed, efficiently placed, and done so in a way where things will move as little as possible.
For every move I need to do within Austin in the future I'll be using these guys. They may not have a truck with some splashy logo on it, but they're probably more professional (and caring of your things) than most of the national movers.
