I would not recommend Affordable Actions moving service. I used this service more than once and the results were mixed. My most recent experience was by far the worst. Received a call from the owner Clarance, 8 pm before the night of the move telling me he had to cancel. He had overbooked and was not able to get a crew on the agreed day. Rescheduled for the following day. Crew arrived late due to a flat tire on a company van. I was told I didn't have enough moving pads then they didn't use them to cover the most basic items. Couch had a large stain on the arm when I arrived at my destination. I would not do business with them nor recommend them to anyone.

I hired one helper for 3 hours. First we had to adjust to the rates in Grand Junction being higher then in Baltimore, Md. where we started. ($50/hr for two people vs here at $55/HR for one person). That being said Jeff, my helper, showed up on time and brought his own dolly. It was a very good experience and I valued his knowledge of how to pack a storage space so items are still accessible. He was courteous and respectful. I valued that he is a committed Christian. HIs work ethic is apparent and we used the 3 hours fully. I would recommend this company and most definitely would recommend Jeff.
